I put this in an old PT Cruiser where it wouldn't fit. It is less than three inches in depth, so it can be made to fit where most 2DIN units won't. If you are trying to install into a dash where a single DIN or odd sized (Chrysler) unit was, consider this one. It interferes with less of what is behind. This is the reason I bought this unit. I still had to cut and do some cosmetic work, but it fit. Installation is straightforward. Instructions favor the installer, NOT the user, but I'm figuring it out. NOTE this - bluetooths to one phone at a time, and works very well. It retains phonebook and recent calls. If you disconnect to connect another phone, your phonebook is lost. This will be a minor nuisance if multiple phones are intended. Not for an audiophile, but a cheap way to have handsfree phone function and a backup camera. Oh, both the built-in mic and the included backup camera work well. Pandora is happy and both Led Zeppelin and Vivaldi sound just fine.

First... I will say for the price this is a good unit. The Instructions that came with the head unit were good and easy-ish to follow. The only issue i had was with the wire for the parking brake. They gave ZERO directions on what to do with that. Basic setup of Radio stations, output balance, bluetooth, etc were all very easy to understand and get done. The unit also supports steering wheel controls and again was super easy to set up.Now for the unfortunately negative reasons. This is a very basic unit with little additional functionality to it. I have an Android phone and so connect to Android Auto through the USB port. When connected to the USB, It will often disconnect and reconnect to Android auto multiple times while driving, to the point of making it useless. I got to use the device in the cold for the first time (38 deg F) and the physical buttons on the bottom of the unit would not work. Additionally there is no easy way to get OS updates from the company. The only way is through email.Overall If you are looking to replace a very basic radio system, this would not be a bad unit to go with. If you are looking for something nice with zero complications however, highly suggest spending a bit more to get a better unit.

My 05 Highlander had the CD/cassette deck and I really wanted both a touchscreen interface for my iPhone and also a backup camera. After a lot of research I settled on this brand/model and I’m glad I did. It was my first time doing this type of install and it went quite smoothly, took 4 hours total. An hour was spent making the walnut spacer blocks to fill in the 1/2” gap on each side (in pic, could’ve bought a dash kit instead but didn’t feel like it). I chose to buy a $10 wiring harness adapter at WalMart and soldered everything together. A tedious process making sure the right wires went to the right place but not bad. Finding a good spot for the camera and routing the wires was tricky, but got it done with patience and time. The unit works very well, I love the CarPlay feature; having the route from Google Maps on the screen at the same time as my Spotify is so nice to have, don’t need to get my phone out at all. The EQ options are outstanding and I think the sound quality and loudness is superb. Very happy with this purchase. The backup camera feature works very well. I mounted it behind my rear glass at the top and works great in the day. Not sure about how well it does at night because of the slightly tinted glass but I trust if I mounted it outside the car it would look good.Edit: I’ve had this unit installed for a few months now and Im still happy with it. The OS for the unit can be a little glitchy; sometimes on first start the touchscreen doesn’t respond and it needs a “soft reset” by going into reverse or park and that seems to do the trick. Still happy tho. The rear view doesn’t work at night thru the rear glass, but that’s no biggie, that’s on me. Also, don’t let the volume of the unit go below ‘10’ when going into reverse or it’ll max the volume on you and give you and your passengers quite the annoying surprise.

I bought this item used to try it out. Cost like 75 dollars. Back up camera is low quality. The bottom of the screen is hard to touch making some functions difficult to access. You need a cable for CarPlay. The mirror function does not work. Tried their tech support, which I think is overseas because they only respond at night, with no luck (they were nice though). The trim is flimsy and broke during the installation. The brackets are not made for the CRV like it says it is, I had to cut them to make it fit. I hope I can get my money back but if I don’t, I learned a valuable lesson.

Bought for an old Chevy truck. Thought it would fit but I guess I got the measurements wrong. Would have tried to power it up but I would have had to take the original radio system out first and I didn't want to do that until I actually had a touch screen that fit correctly.

I have had this unit for several months now and I couldn't be happier. I got the unit to replace a factory stereo in my 2007 Hyundai Tuscon (yes, it fits, don't believe the Amazon header). With the correct stereo mounting bracket and a wiring harness for your specific automobile, the installation was super easy. What an upgrade!!! The touchscreen is clear, bright, and responsive. The controls are laid out very well both on the screen and on the buttons below the screen. There are lots of spots for radio presets and it holds a signal well. There is a 30 band EQ plus presets for fine tuning the system. I love the way Google Maps (wired mode) ports to the unit while still giving you a little charge to your phone. It sure beats trying to follow your map route using your phone's display. The Google Maps screen can be switched to dark mode, which I prefer day or night. It seems to give you a little more contrast in dark/night mode. Playing audio from your phone is easily selected and handled from the head unit. Any of your media apps, podcast players, etc. on your phone can send their output through the unit where it is easy to control. I paid a great deal more for my unit then they are currently asking, but I would buy it again if I needed another unit. This is a great value.
