Excellent bright lights for my front walkway. I wish the plastic end cap points were either more durable or replaceable. Our clay soil is nearly impenetrable at times and the points break.

I was looking for solar lights for decoration / ambience for my front porch, not so much as actual lighting source at night. These work great for this purpose. The assembly was very easy. It came as a set of 2, and I put each of them in a medium sized planter on my south-facung porch that receives direct sunlight for about 5-6 hours each day in the summer in the Pacific Northwest. They're the ones in the yellow circles in the attached picture.They've been in the planters for over a month and so far they're doing great. I stay up until around 4am a lot and I often see them on around 1-2am. They light up as soon as the sun's out, stay fully lit for about 3-4 hours then they slowly dim out - usually completely out within 5 hours. If you're looking for solar lights that work through the whole night, these don't seem to do so. If you don't mind them only light up through half the night, then I think they're a good option.

Okay, so let me start off by saying that these lights are what I like to call "look but don't touch" quality. From afar they look really really nice. They look at lot more well made than they actually are and they look really nice. I have them along my walk way in the front of our home. We LOVE how they look. Here's the kicker...when you actually go near them and/or actually TOUCH them you instantly realize that they are really really cheaply made and not anywhere as nice as you would think. When you first get them you have to twist the top off to remove the plastic battery tag that allows them to charge. Now I'm not the Hulk or anything, but I almost destroyed a couple of these lights into a billion pieces by simply twisting them. HULK SMASH LIGHT!!! So be careful when handling these. I think the most well made part of these lights are the metal poles that you hang the lights from, and even those aren't very well made....oh, and like other reviewers mentioned before, when you buy a pair of these lights you only get ONE light that hangs...the other sticks into the ground. This makes the photo in the listing VERY misleading. Quite frankly, Amazon should look into making them change the photo because it is incorrect, but they are probably too busy figuring out other ways to completely dominate your life and make you buy everything on Earth through their site....but anywho....We ordered 4 pairs of these lights and were able to make it work, but if you want all hanging lights you will be disappointed. We aren't disappointed by these lights but they are not what we expected. As far as how bright they are....for now they are just okay and do the job, but we literally just got them so maybe they aren't fully charged. Time will tell. So for now they will earn 3 stars.

Easy to assemble and easy to use. The brightest is perfect for my back yard.

I bought these lanterns for my backyard near the steps down to our pool. And I have to say, after having them for the summer, they are working great! They provide a really nice light and obviously recharge every day in the sun. They last for hours too. Great product for the price!

I’m very disappointed in the quality of these lights. The small shepherd hooks are thin and will very easily bend and get destroyed. The lights themselves are made of extremely cheap plastic, I don’t expect them to last six months. The brightness of the light is very dim, and is no good at lighting anything outdoors at night. I’m so disappointed in this purchase, and I have wasted every penny that I spent on these. I have passed the window to return them. Cheaply made, waste of money, the light is very dim, even after being charged in full sunlight all day long.
