My mum is obsessed with Maldon salt and won't use any other brand. She's been pinching it out of the boxes on her counter for years and they kept getting tatty and spilling. Bought her this and it's been life changing. It's beautifully made and very chic in her rustic kitchen. It sits right next to the chopping board. It's incredibly easy to use and she keeps garlic cloves in the little dish it comes with, which might be a stand, but we found it to be a bit unstable used that way. Love it.

It’s perfect other than it has a chip on the rim. I’m keeping it as I’m all for imperfections but would have expected it to be pristine. Others seem to have had similar issues

I already have the white version of this which has given me many years of good service. The black one fits with my table decor and has already received envious glances. I will guard it with my life.

This is just a brilliant little Salt Pig! Absolutely love it. Very well made, smooth coating & very well packed. The writing around the rim also beautifully done. And so practical. So nice to pay for stuff even if you have second thought about the price comparison and then to receive this. Well done, absolutely worth the pounds!

Love this sits by the cooker

I really like how it looks. It's a decent size, I rarely need to full the top section with flakey sea salt, and the bottom section will hold several tablespoons worth of table salt. It arrived with no imperfections, the top section fits comfortably on the lower section and hasn't scraped or scratched the coating yet. For someone with larger hands they may find it difficult to take salt from the top section, especially as it starts running low on salt. Easy to clean with soap and water. A little expensive but makes a considerate gift for a home cook.
