FYTRONDY Stainless Brushed Steel TWO WAY Angle Valve, G1/2" Inlet, G1/2" outlet

I won't explain what we got these for, other than obviously for water. We installed them on a PEX system in a tiled niche. They looks very nice! They are also much smaller than I expected. They are approximately 3-4 inches tall now with the tiles in place.Please note that the threading on these is NOT easy to match to plumbing fittings. I can't remember all the names/types but this has a European thread. We ended up needing to special order the correct PEX fitting with the right threads, and this held up our project by 2 weeks while we figured it out. Also, be sure to carefully mark where these are in the on or off position. It's really easy to not notice you turned it that tiny quarter turn into an on position then go to test the valve and connections for leaks only to shoot water out the wall and across the unfinished floor. Just flip the valve over and look through the bottom, it's obvious when it's off or on. After we cleaned up from the first "the more you know" moment and retested them they didn't leak a drop. They look very nice and are perfectly functional for what we needed. We ended up not being able to use the included flanges because the tile guys couldn't work under them, but the flanges are nice and fit snugly without a ton of effort to get them in place. Since there's no room for error (remember, they're short) there's not a lot of space on the shaft to move them around on.Anyway, I'm glad we got these. The have worked out well and function how we need them to. Also, these are significantly less expensive than designer brands available in stores. I can't tell if these have ceramic guts but I doubt it, the cost doesn't reflect that. I don't see any reason why they'll be an issue anytime in the next few years so we're pleased with this product.
