My 12 pound Bichon Frise - Shih Tzu mix and i LOVE this backpack. Being short, it is much more comfortable for me than a front carrier. My dog is comfortable, calm and content in it; she doesn't bark at people or other dogs like when on the leash. She just hangs out and sniffs a lot, taking it all in. We have walked several miles, several times already along the Elizabeth River Trail and I can't wait to take it camping and hiking. It appears to be well made, I haven't noticed any flaws in the stitching or anything. Was a little awkward getting her into it the first couple times but we have since gotten the hang of it. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this backpack for my Havanese (13lbs). The small fit him perfectly. The backpack has many straps and fasteners that are easy to adjust. I’ve been using this to safely ride my bike with him on my back. I love it and he loves it. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality and safe pack to take your dog on adventures!

My boy is 12” long and 15” in girth. This bag fits big around his body but it’s good on length. I love that you can secure them to the bag with a clip because this guy is a little wiggly at times. Only thing I would add is a waist band because although they’re small, they need some support on the bottom to keep them looking above the shoulders. Would definitely get this bag again once they add a waist band!

Best carrier for dachshund! He doesn’t like walking so this backpack is super convenient and comfortable for carrying him!

2nd K9 pack I have ordered. Both with same label and size. However, this one didnt fit my pet. Measurements were well within design but could not zip up around her. Length wise about 2 inches to short. Positive: same strong material. Like the webbing for ventilation.

Bought after measuring my dog... however the product did not work for my Doxie mix. She is 9lbs but has a long torso/body that makes it so I need to buy a size up. Unfortunately, doing this had her swimming in the bag. It just didn't work for my dog, however it was a sturdy material and seems like good quality. I would caution people with pups that have longer bodies and short legs.

I bought three different backpacks before I landed on this one. I started with traditional carrier style bags thinking I would wear them on my front but found the weight of my 15lb dog made walking this way very uncomfortable and was hard on my back. Turning it around like a regular backpack was better, but then my dog kept straining around to look around my side. This bag was the solution. My 15lb terrier fits perfectly and snug in the bag and can see over my shoulder. We tried the medium before getting the small, and could have probably made it work, but all the straps had to be tightened all the way and we had to shorten the shoulder straps a lot to give a boost to look over our shoulders. The small size positions him high enough that he can easily see in front of him

I wasn't sure that my pup would fit in a small because she's unusually long for a dog, but she fits! My 11 lb Jack Russel mix loves this backpack. She loves to be carried anyway, but she absolutely loves being at our eye level when we're out in the world. Bonus: we can fit a little blanket in the backpack with her! she can also wear her jackets in there. The backpack is durable and even comes with extra pieces for stuff that might fall off/break (like zipper pulls). I Love how easy it is to use and the backpack itself is so light that you've really only got the weight of your dog to worry about. I am happier with this purchase than I expected!

This is great. The step by step instructions were easy to follow and worked the first time. Great for travelling in ferries and walking through country markets where small dogs feel like they are going to be trodden on. Quality is great and he feels very secure especially with the back supporting straps.

This backpack is fantastic for myself and my 10lb dog! Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to load your dog into it. Mine seems very content in the pack. Lots of treats loading him into it probably helps!

Flossy is a chubby 11 year old shi-tzu (9kg), who loves countryside rambling with her family, but is getting a bit arthritic and sometimes just .... stops. So after a couple of miles we pop her in this backpack for a half hour rest, then she's ready to go walking again. She is very comfortable (to the point of falling asleep) and seems totally happy in it. When she's ready to come out she wriggles around a bit. Only improvement would be a hip belt to take some of the weight - it is pretty heavy on the shoulders/back of neck. Flossy came up at 16 inches, and we got her a small - even though it looked tiny when we got it it was fine. You kind of want to get a neat fit so they are held firmly in position - if it is too big your dog might slop around inside and it might not work.
