This cable does not work with Jackson Audio pedals.

Not sure if this cable has applications I'm not aware of, but it does not transmit MIDI commands via 5-pin to TRS in my application. I transmit from a Line 6 Stomp to a TRS MIDI capable pedal (Golden Boy). Also, the cable length is shorter than expected. The entire cable is 20cm, but that's physical length, not a practical length, but if course that's besides the point in my case. Returning it....

Podcast/ studio recording

The pin connection is not useful if using for pedal boards. Ground is correct (pin 2, bottom) but the tip and ring go to the 1 and 4 pins (about 3 and 4 o’clock). Most midi works on the 2, 4 & 5 pins… maybe this has a use somewhere but just beware before you buy.
