Extremely clear, excellent sound

As usual, Polk Audio didn't disappoint. I've used MM 6502 component speakers in the past. Couldn't get but one pair this time. Ended up with these as a second pair for my setup. They definitely get the job done. 06 Pontiac GTO rear seat speakers.

Love em! These are hooked to Memphis Audio MXA2.140 amp running off a Kenwood KMR-M332BT deck. They are su F@*%&^$ loud!! Good crisp clean sound! I have set set of the 6502 (components) in the front fairing, 652 in the lower fairing and in the tour pack housings.

Running 50W each (average Kenwood amp) they get very loud with great clarity and zero distortion.

Speakers are great! Install in 2023 Polaris Rzr Pro Xp front speaker boxes was not easy. Had to take my grinder to the outside of the speaker on both driver and passenger side to make fit. Drivers side was much worse than passenger. But, with a lot of silicone, they sound great with a 120 watt per channel amp.

I bought 4 of these for my Harley 2 in the upper fairing and 2 in the lower fairing they are powered by a 1000 watt amp. The speakers sound great they have good bass and are clear. I can hear my music over the wind and loud pipes. You can't beat them for the price. UPDATE, I was having problems with the speakers getting hot, I changed amps and got a Rockford Fosgate, it helped out and made the speakers sound better. The magnet in the speakers was steal getting hot. Sound-wave where I bought them was great in communitation, while I was trying to figure out what was wrong they were telling me they would swap for new speakers. Even though I had them over 30 days they gladly swapped for 4 new speakers.

I just replaced a pair of JBL's that I blew out because I didn't think about it when I bought them that they were car speakers only and I really needed motorcycle/ATV speakers. I have speaker adapters because the factory speakers were smaller. I think 5 1/4" were the factory size speakers. I have a Kicker PX?-300.4 amp for these only and wow. I thought the JBL'S were really good but when I installed these, what a difference. A ton clearer and with the factory radio it really woke it up big time. As with all stereo systems,,, the radio part of it never, ever will sound good. Now connect Bluetooth or even a CD and all heck breaks loose. Look guys,,, I looked at the $400 Rockford's,, and yes they sound good but I'm telling you that for this price,, with my amp it stands right up to them. Even if these blow in 4 years,, that's ok,, for the price I'll just replace them. Heck the JBL'S lasted 4 1/2 years and there car speakers.

These are good speakers, however, they would sound much better with an amp helping them. I will resubmit a review after I hook them to an amp

Good quality and sound. Installed on 2013 kawasaki Vaquero 1700 with aftermarket 6.5" inch speaker pods adapters They are marine grade and were submitted to severe rainstorms without any issue in sound/functionnability.They are direct fit on tour pack from Kawa Voyager 2009/2024 WITH speaker pods adapter! Hook up obviously easy. Sound is great

Very poor performance. They shock very quickly and the quality looks very bad. Everything is exposed in the back and not sure how they advertise this as marine speakers. Wires and electronics stuff are all exposed and open in the back of the speaker.
