This shears are an amazing value for such a reasonable price. They are very light, strong and a perfect accompaniment to my IFAK. The company that sells them "Recon Medical LLC" has amazing customer service and when my first order didn't arrive (it was missing from the box from the distribution center) they personally contacted me and corrected it without a hitch.I tried them out on some various fabrics and they sail right through with ease- without danger of causing further damage to the wound. No IFAK should be without them. In a stressful, potentially life-threatening situation, you don't want to use a pocket knife to remove garments to treat the wound. You need to be able to get to the skin easily and quickly and these shear do the job!

I received these shears promptly after ordering them. The blades are fitted tightly together, which makes the difference between shears that cut well and those that don't, in my experience. And these do cut well. The price is more reasonable for this product than some other sellers. The company also seems invested in providing good support, which is a plus. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and would purchase these again.

Recon Medical's titanium bonded trauma shears are first-rate! Used a similar pair in the Marine Corps but have found nothing comparable in the civilian world. They cut through clothes, bandages, etc., easily. So good are they that later today I'll purchase a second pair for a brother Marine. Congratulations on manufacturing and selling a terrific product. Great, sturdy and lightweight. These are a nice addition to my first aid kit. The price was just right for my needs. Good customer service, too!

I use this for hospital clinic and they were perfect. Very sturdy and great value for money.

Light-weight and felt good in my hand. Unfortunately, they only cut in one spot because the blades aren't close enough to each other and the blade is pretty dull. Wouldn't even cut through an ankle tape job. Company was quick to fix the issue with a refund and they have always been friendly, but still the scissors didn't work.

The casting/ color is great. Looks and feels very sturdy. I haven't had to use them to reverse any grave shibari mistakes yet fortunately but I am very confident they will work when I need them.
