Good replacement pedals
Fell,of my electric bike and damaged one pedal, these were a great replacement, easy to fit.

Good grip, a little on the small side
I bought these to replace the original pedals that were fitted to my bike. After many years of use, the rubbery surface on those original pedals had worn smooth, and particularly when riding in or after rain, my feet were slipping on the pedals - obviously not what I wanted. I chose the Hycline set because they have serrated edges and I was particularly anxious to get pedals on which my feet would not slip. They are definitely better than the end-of-life set that they have replaced. My only concern is that the pedal size is a little small - another time I would be looking for something a bit bigger.

Ideal pedals for most bikes.
I really like these pedals. They look good on the bike and are ideal for a regular leisure/commuter bike. They have built-in reflectors and turn nicely. I like that the main body is alloy rather than plastic. They should last for many years. And at this price, they're great value for money. I've given them a good oiling and coated the threads with a generous layer of grease. I never expect to replce them, but whoever inherits my bike will be able to change them easily, very many years from now.

Great value
Easy install. Good quality for the price. A little tight at first but a few rides later they’ve bedded in and rotating very smoothly

Big improvement on plastic
Needed a replacement for the folding plastic pedals on my ADO electric bike. Been through 2 sets of plastic pedals, the bearings keep seizing up and the pedal unscrews & falls off - doesn't make for a fun cycle home. These basic metal pedals are solid & reliable. Had them on nearly a year now and no damage or any indication of the unscrewing problem I've had with plastic options. Will be sticking to solid metal options going forwards

They've been fine, but enough spindle movement on one after ~600 miles to click
Like some other reviewers I found the pedals had a little more resistance to spinning than I'd expected to start with but that did ease (and it didn't hamper pedaling). They've then worked well enough for a while however after about 8 months of use (probably 600 or so miles) I noticed a clicking noise start when pedaling at a gentle cruise and I've found there is noticeable play around the spindle on both pedals, with it being worse on the right. They're still usable and turn freely enough, but the clicking is a bit annoying and that seems fairly low mileage for that amount of wear even on a cheap pedal.
