Great product, need better adhesive strips
I'll try to come back and update again, and hopefully have a better review. This is exactly what I was looking for to protect our little guys from our brick hearth. The pack came slightly cracked open (the clear cellophane wrap) and only had one sheet of the adhesive. I used other 3M adhesive strips that I had, but within less than 12 hours, this thing had completely fallen off the brick. I searched online high and low for the best adhesive for brick but couldn't really get good specifics. Finally I went with an industrial strength Velcro and put that on last night. So far, it is immovable and my boys though they've sat on it, pulled on it, and tried their best, the edge protector is still on there. I think a product like this would be best served if they had a list of finishings (brick, concrete, wood, marble, granite, etc...) and partnered all the products that would give a secure hold that lasts for the right finish. I hope this helps someone with brick. Don't even attempt it with the tape that comes with it.

great for my needs.
bought this to use on my waterbed frame instead of buying pricey padded rails that my cats may just end up destroying.Since these are not as wide as a hardside waterbed rail, i put the edge guard on each side of the rail and they come together perfectly in the center top of rail. they actually look nice and provide a good amount of padding without being super bulky looking like waterbed rails so i am going to keep using this edge guard and replacing it as needed if cats ruin it instead of buying padded bed rails.. Had no issues with it not sticking to wood rail, went on easily and still sticking fine even when i push on it to see if it will come off.. Definitely will be recommending this to my expecting DD to baby proof her house.

Excellent product.
I am very happy with this product. It's easy to cut with regular scissors and simple to install. I installed the Edge Armor around my glass coffee table right before my 14-month-old granddaughter came to visit. She is not quite walking yet, but of course the coffee table is her favorite place to pull herself up and cruise around the edges. She did stumble once or twice, and I was very glad the Edge Armor was there to protect her perfect little face/head/chin. One piece of advice: Because the rubber is so flexible, you have to be careful to get it perfectly straight. Mine is a little wavy because I was not careful enough when I applied it, but I'll know better next time. I do recommend Edge Armor and think it's a great product.

I like the fact that you can cut this product to ...
I like the fact that you can cut this product to fit multiple objects in your home. It came with 3M double sided tape to put on the back of the Edge Guard which was easy to apply and sticks well to almost all surfaces. I originally only purchased this for my fireplace, but ended up using it on a couple of table edges as well. My fireplace is brick and after a couple of weeks, I noticed that one of the sides is starting to fall down. Which means, that this products doesn't do too well on brick surfaces. I must say though, I have heard bad things about other fireplace guards and this one still is a good product.

Useless Adhesive
While the Edge Guards are as described in thickness, etc., I wasn't overly satisfied with this product. It arrived in a short amount of time, and I couldn't wait to get them mounted to protect the two 11 m.o.'s I care for. However, there were no directions included. Yes, it's only adhesive and the guards, but after some of the negative reviews regarding them peeling off, I was eager to apply as directed. After spending 1/2 hour or so searching reviews here for info, I finally went to the edge armor website and found instructions. No tricks: apply double-sided tape to guards a little at a time, and adhere to surface you want protected. I spent an hour slowly sticking the guards to the desired surface....they fell off by the end of the day. I have since reglued them with my own spray adhesive twice, and one of them fell of again today. Sufficed to say, I'm annoyed. Why not include adequate adhesive?! Or, none, and leave it to the purchaser. But, I don't like paying for something thinking it will work, and, it doesn't.In the future, I would also buy a thicker guard, but that was my own decision.

Great Product that Blends in with Most Decor
We used this on our sharp-edged blue stone hearth. Not only does it pad and cover all of the sharp edges but, unlike many baby safety products, the color options should blend in with most "adult" decor. In our case, most people don't even realize that there is padding on the hearth because the color matches so well with the hearth and fireplace surround. Installation takes just a few minutes with a pair of scissors. If we needed more I would definitely purchase Edge Armor again.

Neutral brown, thick dense material
This edge guard is a true, neutral brown (not reddish) and goes great on my stone coffee table. People think it's part of the table... I mean, it's obvious to me that it isn't, but I guess if you're not looking too hard you don't really think about it. This stuff is THICK too, I'm much happier with this guard over a cheaper one I bought. My two-year-old likes to bite it, which leaves cuts in it but he hasn't taken a piece out of it yet. I'd buy this one again if I needed more.

GREAT PADS
This is a must-have for those of us with newborns. Baby proofing our house is one of the things we must do to protect our child. Our baby daughter is eight months now and after a couple close calls almost hitting her head into the side of furniture we decided to get this. The application is fairly simple. The only difficulty was that the product tends to coil since it is rolled up. Not a dealbreaker though. I found it best to cut the adhesive into smaller strips to make it easier to apply to the back of the padding. I've had it on for a couple weeks now and no signs of pealing up. I recommend this product.
