Perfect for spring and fall, the unisex Thermal Lite Gloves are ideal as a lightweight cool weather glove or layered in cold conditions as a liner in colder conditions.

Added a second pair for below 35 degree riding
I ride my road bike year round up Big Cottonwood canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah as long as the roads are dry. From December through February the temperatures are around 30 degrees give or take 10, and there is always snow on the ground. I have worn these gloves in temperatures below 40 and been comfortable. Below 35 they are a little cool. So I purchased a second pair of XXL Pearl iZUMi gloves to fit over my MEDIUM sized gloves (I could have used XL). They work perfectly. Even wearing both pair they aren't to bulky and if I get a little warm I can shed the additional pair. I tried wearing a pair of winter sport gloves but they were way to warm, made my hands sweat, and were very bulky to wear and to store if I took them off during the ride. I've had my original pair for five years. As far as the touch screen use they work if I swipe the main screen but not for tapping. Instead I just made a slit in the thumb of the glove and can pull it back exposing the tip of my thumb. This allows me to use my phone without taking the glove completely off.

Reasonably warm, but slick if they get wet
I bought these so I could continue to mountain bike into the late fall weather (40-50F). My first use was a windy 40F afternoon. Early in my ride they felt great. My hands were warm, grip was good. Toward the end of my ride I noticed my finger tips weren't as grippy on the brake levers as I remembered from early in the ride. When I finally got back to my car I realized the gloves were soaking wet. At no point did my fingers get cold, but it seems they got too warm and sweaty. The gloves absorbed all of the sweat. The small patches of grippy material on the finger tips wasn't enough to compensate. I can get all sort of sweaty on a 100F summer ride and my normal warm weather gloves have never had this issue. I'm thinking 40F is a bit too warm for these gloves if you're really working hard on the trail.I still like the gloves as they do keep my fingers warm. The slippery nature does bother me a bit though. If I sweat too much or if it's raining then I need to pay attention to finger position on the brake levers to make sure I'm not going to slip, fail to slow, and crash into something. The good news is that I can likely use these in the winter if I choose to go for a cold weather ride.

Best That I've Found
***9 Month Update***I bought these around Christmas time and used them through last winter. Now we've been through summer and are having our first cool nights of the season, so I dug around for my gloves again a few days ago. While I was chugging along, I was reminded how much I liked these and that I ended up giving my spare pair to a neighbor. When I got home, I made a note to get another set if they were still available-- which is what I'm doing now! Seems like when you find some gear you like, it's never still around when you're ready for a replacement- so I'm getting another pair or two while I can. I've ended up coming back to Pearl iZUMi gear again & again, so it must be pretty good stuff overall. I just wish they still made my favorite "Road H3 v2" trainers...but I read that they've "hung up their sneakers" in the running shoe department, so sad to see them go....***Original Review***I believe these are the best glove of this type that I've tried. They fend off the slight chill while wicking away sweat from my hands. I don't use my phone while I run, so can't comment on the touchscreen functionality. The fit is perfect for my hands-- nice and snug. I bought a second pair just in case these aren't around anymore when the need arises for a replacement. I've searched long & hard for good gloves and given away 5 or 6 pairs that either didn't fit or didn't work very well. Gloves are subject to individual fit and preferences, but I certainly recommend these as worth testing out.

Very good cool weather, non-touch screen gloves
I love how they fit (true fit) and their soft, supple feel. The grippy bits on the fingers do NOT activate a touch screen, but the provide very good... grip! These are thin gloves, good for cool weather. In cold weather they are perfect as a glove liner. If you need to take them on and off a lot, for example, to use a touch screen, these are not the gloves for you - they fit close to the skin on wrist, palm, and fingers (but not at all with any discomfort or notice) - so they do not come off my hands quickly .

These would not be useful as a standalone winter glove in low temperatures
Shipped quickly and arrives as expected. I had some waterproof neoprene gloves that really had no insulation and would make my hands freeze very quickly in the cold. Thought I would try a pair of these to add some insulation and see if they proved me any warmth. I tried them snowblowing and they did seem to help quite a bit. At this point I don't know how cold they will work too but they did seem to help. I am 6ft tall and I got the XL size and they fit me well. They also fit under the neoprene gloves surprisingly well. In my case I don't think if they were much thicker I would have been able to wear them as an underglove. I really can't see these being used standalone unless you just wanted a light glove to keep your fingers warm in moderate temperatures. These would not be useful as a standalone winter glove in low temperatures. They are very light and comfortable however. Remember what they are for.

Flexible Light Weight Gloves
They don't work on my touch screens but I don't care. They're comfortable when I'm driving my boat and fishing. I put them through the wringer, so they don't last long, but then again, I don't care. I buy a pair whenever I need them. Now if they were priced too high, I'd rethink everything I just said.

Great Autumn/Spring weight glove.
Lightweight, comfy and good looking. I am size 7.5 so Large fits comfortably. In the picture are my old Pearl Izumi gloves above which I had for about 10 years and kept re-stitching. The new gloves (in the lower part of the photo) are comparable. I was disappointed that the new glove is not cell phone compatible so you have to take them off every time you use your phone, and the reason for downgrade to 4 stars. Touch screen compatible for cycling or daily use is the standard now and Pearl needs to get with the program.

Not warm, but that's OK
Good spring gloves, exactly what I was looking for now that the weather is >10 celsius.Thin and more like nylon on the outside, kind of similar to costume gloves, but have a thin fleece on the inside. Strong grips to pull the brakes on my road bike. One complaint is that it's too big for me. I'm a small lady (5'6", 50 kg), palms 17 cm around, and pointy finger 5.5 cm around and the XS is too lose in all direction. I was hoping it would be tight. But I guess I'm asking too much for the price.

Good quality materials
Very thin gloves but good to wear under your other gloves!I do not feel that I have sufficient when wearing these alone.

A bit oversized
Have used them already twice at 10C and 7C, keep you warm, though they are a bit over sized, zaggy
