Well constructed boot with full liner and velcro attached. I think it would work well with ankle problems but there is a 'squeak' when walking. It fit well however after an upcoming surgery, there won't be enough room for bandages and foot due to the molded frame. Although I had to send it back, I think for most people this would be an ideal protective boot. I wear size 7 shoe and bought a small which fit very well.

The pictures and the description don’t really give an adequate portrait of the boot. It is soft sided except on the sides where the straps attach. If you need rigid support this is not the boot for you. I bought it to wear inside after having a bunion surgery since my doctor wanted me to wear a boot all the time except when I was sitting up with my foot elevated and taking baths. I wanted a boot that was “clean” in the bed at night and this boot did that job. Be aware that there is no Velcro attaching the soft insole to the rigid frame and so the insole portion needs to be readjusted every time you take it on and off.

I have ongoing arthritic issues with my feet and the boot is great. It is made of quality material. The cushion is separate from boot, which I think you could wash if needed

I would give it 5 stars but it’s really not for people with thin legs. Even with the comfortable padding, I still had wiggle room

I sprained my ankle at the start of my vacation. Boot ordered and found it identical to the one I have at home, purchased via my podiatrist when I sprained same ankle a few years ago.Price is excellent. No issues from Day 1. Put it on to get needed support and I was good to go.I am a size 8 1/2 to a 9. After reading reviews I ordered a small despite directions stating a medium would be best. So glad I went with the small. It was a great fit.
