Permanent repair
Easy to use. Great for towel rod or toilet paper holder repair. When you put in plug it is slightly recessed into the wall allowing for a flush finish when you apply joint compound. Wall looks flawless after light sanding.

Works
Works as advertised, the hole saw did have a hard time cutting 1/2” drywall but it did and my holes are now patched. Would be nice if it came with drywall mud also…

Paint completely prevents cutting
The concept and engineering are great so 3 stars for that alone!HOWEVER, the manufacturing is extremely disappointing. You WILL have to get after this with a dremel and sanding discs to get the paint off. I recommend very small sanding discs for precision inside the bevel cutters. The white drywall cutter itself is nonfunctional and impossible to assemble without sanding the paint off im several places. It won't cut into the wall at all on the teeth, or around the bevel cutting edges. Inside the center hole where the drill bit is attached, it cannot be inserted. If you want to get this I don't -not- recommend it, but just know you have another project in it. Make sure to wear saftey glasses and a mask, the dust is nasty and the metal dust shards are bad for your eyes. :)As a side note, if you get the tool in working order, I also recommend running the drill in reverse towards the end. This way it doesn't eat as far into the wall quickly and leave the plug so recessed like in the seller's photos and videos. See my photo for reference. I could have gone a little bit deeper though.

Easy repair
This kit works just perfect! Drill the hole with the round saw, add compound around the repair drywall patch, stick it in the hole, add more compound, sand it after drys and it will be ready to paint. Super easy, good product!!
