FENBEN Women Straw Crossbody Bag Summer Beach Weave Shoulder Bag Rattan, Brown, Small

I am posting this review almost 5 months after I purchased this purse. I love this purse! It has been a staple piece to my summer wardrobe and I use it at least 3-4 times a week. I was worried about the quality of the straw/rattan when I ordered it and whether or not it would fall/break apart after a few uses. It has not - even the cross-body strap (which I use all the time) has not frayed or become scraggy looking. Definitely a gamble that has been a pleasant surprise which has garnished this 5 star rating from me.

Currently using this bag on a 10-day trip to Savannah/Charleston. I prefer a smaller purse for travel, so it’s the perfect size for me. It’s big enough to fit all my necessities without getting too heavy: iPhone 11, charger, cardholder, envelope with cash, lip gloss, brow pencil, eye drops, Advil, tissues, wet wipes, bandaids, floss, pen, and several maps/brochures. The strap didn’t seem very sturdy, so I switched to a thin gold chain for wearing crossbody. I also like wearing it on my arm or holding the handles in my hand and it’s surprisingly comfortable no matter how I carry it. It will also stand up straight when set down without needing to be propped up. I was a little worried about security because it doesn’t have a zipper or snap/magnet to keep it closed, but there is a pull-string closure on top that will keep your contents covered and secure. I have not been gentle with this bag and it’s holding up well after several miles of walking each day. I purchased this bag just for vacation and so far it’s been a great buy. Super cute and goes with all my summer outfits!
