Update:After writing my review I was contacted by the seller and Manufacturer Miadore. They assured me they passed my review down manufacturing and was sent a replacement controller free of charge and they shipped it fast. If they are true to their word and get the soldering done better these controllers are the best you can get. They feel well built and dont have the plastic crunch other controllers have. I opened it up and saw 2 of the 4 wires were disconnected because they were poorly soldered.I was not home and didn't have any tools with me so I managed to fix it by holding the cables down and gluing them. The controller worked again.Besides that they feel pretty good and have no complains on functionality. If you buy these just make sure to glue the part where the cable comes out of the controller so it doesn't tug the lightly soldered connections.

Just got these today it feels good and very responsive but that’s only 1 out of the 2 I received. The other one stopped working as soon as I mapped the buttons in my PI. Mapped the buttons went left and right once and just stopped working. The working one does work very well though. Hoping I can get a replacement for the one that only worked for 1 min. UPDATE: Seller got back to me super quick after I contacted them and resent me 2 more controllers for the broken one I received they honor their warranty so these are a good buy even if you do receive a defective controller seller will fix the problem quick.

Not as described by Tim King. Doesn't work with Nintendo switch, but still good. Please make special software to make it work with the nintendo switch.

Got these to go with my retro game loaded raspberry pie. It came with wireless controllers but there was noticeable lag so I ordered these. These work really well, no lag at all.

as received neither controller worked,disassembled both controllers and had enough parts to make one work,at least i ended up with one working controller,would not recommend.

We haven't manhandled these, so I don't know about their long-term durability, but they work well for us and seem durable enough for our use. So, a great value, and a great fit for the Retro Pi, which promises an inexpensive road toward nostalgia.

I didn't expect much from this 2-pack, but I was pleasantly surprised. The size and feel isn't much off from that of my SNES controllers. I expected them to be too light, the buttons too unresponsive. While there is a slight bit of "cushion" feel to some of the buttons, such as the L and R, this did not detract from gaming when firing up games in an emulator. These controllers are exactly what I had hoped they would be and more. Would certainly purchase again.

I bought these to work with my Raspberry Pi. I didn't have to do anything to map the keys. I like them.
