Great pan for cooking. I only wish that it had a lid.

Got it on Prime Deals day for half price and I wish I got a few more to give as Christmas presents. Love it

What I expected

I have wanted a 'grill' pan for a long time and finally decided to get myself one! I have used it for bacon cooked in the oven, sausage patties on the stove, and hot dogs (for the grill marks). It wipes clean easily between the 'grids'. I love that I made the purchase.

I use this pan to grill most of our vegetables. Does a great job!

Beautiful pan, extremely heavy. That's what you get with cast iron! That part I'm perfectly happy with. This thing is solid and it looks good. My problem is with the claim that it is easy to clean. Even at medium heat, this thing will have food debris crusted onto it that is impossible to clean easily. And since that is the case, you end up needing to soak it, which is against the recommendations for the product, but you aren't getting this thing clean without some serious scrubbing or soaking. So you've got two choices, and neither of them are good for the surface of the pan. I would recommend trying to cook at lower temperatures than you think you might need, since cast iron conducts heat very well, and this also lessens the crusting of food debris produced during cooking.

Really fine quality easy to clean. Does a good job on grilling.
