I have started to regularly take Magnesium as a supplement and the addition of the B6 vitamin in this product appealed to me. There's also Zinc in the capsules too. Initially I saw that there were 120 capsules in the tub and wrongly presumed they were a 'one-a-day' capsule whereas, in fact the manufacturer recommends three capsules per day. Therefore this large tub is only a 40-day supply. That makes them a little more expensive if taking as a long term supplement.The plastic tub hardly mentions the word 'Magnesium' on its front label and all that stands out is "ZMB PIDOLATES"... maybe I am showing my ignorance but that means very little to me! According to the manufacturer it is a reference brand for many professional sports persons so the 'ZMB Pidolates' is probably a well known term in those circles. It appears to be a mainly French product line, with English in a lighter font below the French wording.Normally I like to see the country of origin for any product that I digest. The product page says that the Country of origin is France, but unless I have missed it that isn't stated on the actual container. There was a generous Best Before date (2023) on the tub I received.Overall, although the capsules may be excellent for the primary intended market but I think that personally I would seek a lower priced magnesium supplement, and even though the capsules are not too large I don't really want to have to take three capsules a day. I am starting to rattle a little as it is these with all the various tablets I take!

Most of the research is inconclusive as to the effectiveness of supplements and this holds true here. The bit you need is the zinc but in order for your body to absorb it you need magnesium as well hence the ZMA or ZMB or ZMP stuff.A little bit of evidence suggests that zinc and magnesium together helps boost testosterone a bit and at my age - 54 - anything that helps is good.These include vitamin B which is needed for your cells to function properly and convert energy. That's why it's included in supplements I guess although I suspect that if you have a good diet you probably don't need it.I checked the price and it's a bit steep for what it is really and when I use ZM products I tend to shop around and find the best bang for buck.

These are easy to swallow.No nasty aftertaste etc.Affordable price attached to it for that extra nutritional benefits.I've also noticed my quality of sleep has vastly improved.Can't complain.

I like taking the supplement in the evening after training to help me recover and get a good nights sleep. I am really impressed with the quality of the ingredients. They have added no nasties and they have used a vegetarian capsule shell. In fact it is clearly marked as being a vegan product. You get 120 capsules and if you take the recommended dosage of three daily then these will last you for two days. At the current price of around £16 this is pretty competitively priced, especially if you consider the quality of the ingredients. You get a long expiry date of around a year from the time of ordering. This is certainly worth considering if you train hard and want to recover particularly with a good night sleep.
