Very good resource
Good work, well written, very well researched. The only let down are the hand drawn arrowheads and tools. There are no photos in this work. With so many artifacts available and digital photography so prevalent, I fail to understand why there are none in this work. Otherwise this is a very good resource.

Minimal information
Not as informative as wanted. I found another book with lots more pictures, places, and descriptions.

New collector or oldtimer...
This is an outstanding book. If you are a new collector, it will give you insight into the different styles, different time frames, and different stones used to create the incredible artifacts underneath our feet. I am an avid collector and dealer in (Mostly) North American artifacts, and I would suggest this book be on any collector's library shelf. The simple but elegant illustrations serve even cold-hearted me as a good tool for identifying the many points I constantly need to put into a database :) And it is a good teaching tool for people I am introducing to collecting.

Rehash of material. Phone it in.
This is just a rehash of material. It's ok. I think a pic or two would have helped. I also think showing the area where a point is found is useful.

Southeastern US Arrowheads
I bought this book to go with a set of North Central Florida Prehistoric Arrowheads I found on ebay for my nephew for this Christmas. The book was great and has info that a 9 year old can grasp and ages on up. Encourages the student to go out and look for arrowheads!!
