This may have been the best value item I've ever purchased. For what this cost, it gave me nearly all the features that I was missing from a newer car, making my 14 year old car feel new again. Having a big screen with Google Maps synced with my phone, higher quality music (no bluetooth-FM adapter needed anymore), a microphone that allows me to make hands-free calls with good sound quality, and a rear view camera are all super valuable to me, and this kit came with all of them. I'm honestly blown away by how different the car feels now. All in all, an easy 5 stars. That being said, there were a few minor pain points - all of which had solutions. Pros: *) Incredible value (includes rear view camera, microphone, GPS, etc.) *) Head unit is easy to install, giving most of the functionality without any special tools needed Mitigated cons: *) The sound is super bass heavy out of the box. This is fixed by updating settings in the equalizer, though it's hard to find how to open the equalizer. I had to map the "mode" button on the steering wheel to the equalizer in order to get it open. *) The backup camera didn't come with long enough power cable to splice into my backup light power - I had to use my own cabling. The instructions also weren't clear enough for me to install the backup camera without looking up additional videos showing the procedure. (The camera also required updating a setting in the menu to NTSC, as shown in a vendor-provided video on this page.) *) It's not reliable to switch from one phone to another when using wireless Android Auto. With one phone it seemed to work reliably. As a result we just use the wired Android Auto, which is faster anyway. Unmitigated cons: *) The passenger airbag light indicator has nowhere to go in the new face plate. If you don't plug its cable in, you get an alert light. If you keep it plugged in, it's hidden behind the screen and you don't know if it is on or off. All in all, an awesome product. If you have any issues with it, chances are good there is a solution to your problem listed somewhere on this page. If not, I found the vendor very responsive when I emailed with a question. My main suggestion for the vendor would be to add one additional instruction sheet with things like how to access the EQ, how to set the action of the music buttons on the steering wheel, how to configure the backup camera, etc. addressing the pain points people mention here often.

For the price pint being $108 you can’t go wrong. Essential technology and sounds good. Not sure what others expect from a CarPlay radio that’s $108 and comes with backup camera. Been installed a few days and no issues. Time will tell in due time with longevity. Hopefully won’t drain new battery like everyone is saying. It’s a nice upgrade and look for an older car. CarPlay only is enough for us. Many features honestly too many to even use. Install was simple took approx an hour for a clean factory look. Camera was not installed but plan on installing at a later date. I will do review then. DOWNSIDE is the right side clips are there but nowhere to connect so it’s slightly loose on right side closer to glove box. Reason for 4 star review. At the end of the day it’s better than the factory stereo that’s was in it. And happy with it especially the price.

This is perfect for our sons 2007 Honda Civic. Everything fits exactly as it should and the radio part was super easy to install in the car. The camera was a little more difficult but our son also didn't have a cutout or anywhere to put the camera so we had to make our own. The functions and Bluetooth all work exactly as they should and are easy to connect to and switch around when needed. The sound is great and depending on if you (or you teen in our case) like loud music there are so many ways to listen that it makes it hard to choose sometimes. Probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to a Bluetooth/Touchscreen radio that don't break the bank but also looks as good as it sounds. Definitely recommend!

I’ve only had this for a few months and I wish I never installed it. I can’t take phone calls in the car due to it constantly disconnecting and switching back and forth between my phone and the radio while in the middle of a call, it randomly disconnects in the middle of showing gps directions, and I can’t listen to 2 whole songs without it disconnecting from my phone. Also you are not allowed to make facetime calls while in the car because it automatically switches it to just audio and no video, which sucks cause as someone that works a lot I like to facetime friends and family hands free on my long car rides home. I have the newest iphone and I bought it to apple thinking my phone could’ve been the issue & it surely wasn’t. The company even sent me a new one, which I had to pay to have reinstalled AGAIN and it’s still doing the same things as the other. I emailed the company and both times they ask for a million pictures and videos as if I have time to play tech support. I feel like they are just wasting time and stringing me along. These radios are faulty and cheaply made I wish I never dumped all this money into it.

most of the reviews are shipping problems which is Amazon fault. On to the product first the pros: •It has a surprisingly good screen. •connects to Bluetooth faster than built in Bluetooth in cars. •zero lag, you'll probably have some years later which is normal for Android based devices. Neutral: • this is not part of the product, it's Android auto is mid in quality for cars Cons: •cannot properly connect to Hotspots or Wi-Fi to save its life, it uses 2.4GHz wifi, which is bad that type of GHz came out in 1999 aka slow as hell, you'll run out of gas before you download 1 MB. Tips: !!do not pay someone to install it for you!! Save the $200 it's not hard to install all the tools are provided and connecting the cables are whatever cables fit perfectly in.!! Remember to disconnect the battery before installing to prevent any power surge!! Leave to (passager air light plugged in to prevent no air bag lig from popping up on on dash.
