Needs an update!
So I got to use these last year but didn’t put up a review. They work great but the only problem I’m experiencing is with the new USBc and Lighting ports, this gets confusing. Like how many dongles do I need to get my headphones to work. They should come up with a USBc port as well! Otherwise the product irks better then expected And you get to use your own headphones!!

Good call to buy these last-minute!
I took a chance the we might need these, and indeed, Air Canada flights Seattle > Toronto > Lisbon and back, all had this stupid two-plug earphone jack, and they were SELLING junky earbuds with the stupid plug. With these adapters my family was able to enjoy our noise-cancelling earphones (me with a bluetooth transmitter to wireless Bose headset). Others plugged in to just one hole for that mono experience.

Works on American Airlines!
Bought these for business class travel on American Airlines, that has the 3 pronged Bose Headphones. This adapter fits into 2 of the ports, and with my own headphones, I can plug in and have both channels of audio come through perfectly. Sometimes the connection from my headphones into the adapter needs to sit a little bit elevated and not as firmly flat into the socket to get full audio to come through, but that is a minor gripe and may be an issue related to my Beat's headphone cord, and less this adapter.

Didn't fit 777
I flew to Beijing on a Boeing 777 and it was not the right fit - the correct one had a slightly smaller pin for one of two. On the return trip, an older 777, it just took the single input (3.5mm), so an adapter was not necessary on that leg.
