So pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately I have no idea of how and where to install the rear camera. I’ve now installed with our the camera. As per limited instructions I’ve connected the adapter to the unit for rear camera - warning in instructions says it will help avoid interference .I wish a better installation guide.However I’ll learn how to use. Super happy with my purchase. :)))

Fitted to my focus 2009 cc-3 no problem. Sliver trim could fit slightly better but it's ok. Colour match could be better too but no big issue.It does slow down at times and struggle but I installed quickly. I didn't get the same camera as pictured but I don't think it makes alot of difference. Stearing controls work just goto car settings and pair the buttons. The unit dims when you turn the lights on and hardbuttons are back-lit with lights on. Wifi and bluetooth work well and microphone is quite good. Better than having it in the unit itself.GPS works fine I use waze as a satnav and connect to Internet using my phones hotspot. Found google maps to be abit iffy. I have forgotten my phone a few times so use a memory stick with music on it incase this happens.Spotify, torque (bluetooth obd), YouTube and my home smart apps all work well. Just make sure for obd adaptors to set bluetooth password in unit to whatever obd adaptor is. Strange bug that won't allow you to pair the normal way.Sound quality is OK but you could mess with the sound settings all day and still not feel its quite right. After a week of tinkering with it I'm now happy. It replaced the Sony unit mine had in it so I lost digital radio. There is an adaptor if you do want it but I listen to Internet radio and music from my phone the most.Not got reverse camera working yet as my reverse switch is not working so my reverse lights don't at the moment but once I fix that I will comment on it.Wish it had more ram so it would not slow down sometimes but it's bearable. 1gb ram not really enough 2gb or 4gb would be better.

There are lots of android base unit out there. But this one fitted my need the most.Considering the price I was not expecting the world but I have seem to have got it!Easy to install, very much fit and play.Disconnect the old unit.Replace the wire harness with the supplied one.Turn the key and it works!The longest part of the installation was the 2 supplied USB sockets. Had to manufacture the holes in the blanking plates. To make it look nicerTouch screen is very responsive and big enough for me to see the map, names and details without my reading glasses on (yes got to that stage).CarPlay connection is simple to use and the fact you can rename it and change the password is a bonus. I have my phone on the holder as it also charges the phone and was from my last install but you can have it anywhere in near. It is worth mentioning to check which USB is the CarPlay one as the other just offer charging only. Mine is the one to the passenger side so I can still charge my phone if someone else is connected to the unit using the USBAs it is android and it might be obvious to some but it offers much more it is not just a car stereo.I have set it up to connect to my house WiFi, updated the apps and there are some great apps already installed but will be getting more.Camera is installed easy to use for parking unfortunately the steering wheel function doesn’t work but that not a major issue, I wasn’t actually expecting it to as I could get it to work with my older unitOnly had it a couple of days also lots more to work out and find out so will update in a months time.Over all for the price in my opinion you can’t go wrong with this unit

The wiring harness is designed for a drop in replacement for the old stereo device in your car, with no serious planning or figuring out has to be done, all you need to do is replace the stereo and plug in the new one with the same connector, while also having the additional wires and features for a more advanced system.The EQ alone boosted the higher end frequencies to actually be identifiable. Although it is a shame you cannot fully change the home screen (at least from what I tried) the software is adequate but nothing special. But that isn't a bad thing. The device does come with some random bloatware that doesn't make the experience better, but it is not a problem. The Android Auto and Car Play is done via an app and it works very well.A lot of tools and features you can utilise with this device. I very much enjoyed my purchase and hardly have any complaints.
