Whatever this is supposed to do, it doesn't. I thought I'd try it because the diagram doesn't make sense showing one M connector going to 2 computers, but I also thought that only having one connection at a time would work as it stated. So I set up this so-called splitter to see if I could connect a single Ethernet cable via this splitter to the router. The splitter doesn't work using either of the two F connectors. I noticed a few customers said it worked as I tried to set up, I don't believe them.

This didn't work straight out of the box. I do understand that the splitter doesn't double your connections--only one of the two devices can be connected at any one time. Unfortunately, it was zero for me. I tried plugging in just one device, leaving one of the two arms of the Y-shaped splitter empty; I tried connecting the splitter straight to the outlet or in-between a cable from the outlet and a device; no can do--I could never get a connection. As soon as I removed the splitter and plugged in a regular cable, my connection was back. I returned it.

It does not work at all. I hooked it up with two outputs (only one on at a time) and no connectivity. Turned one off the other on, same problem no connectivity. Physically disconnected one of the outputs, no joy. Swapped the outputs, no joy. This adapter does absolutely NOTHING.

Had to return this splitter as it did not function for what I needed it for. Was hoping to split it at the modem or router. I read hit and misses on this. Unfortunately I got a miss

While I think this is an ok product, it did not solve the issue I bought it for. Disappointed but that is not the fault of the seller or product.

Doesn't work and by the time I figured it was this thing and not my computer, the window to return it had passed.

Rj45 Y splitter adapter cable is easy to use. I just use it to connect two different computers so don't need keep change between two systems

It does what it's supposed to I have no complaints
