Great book.

While it’s a good read and walks you through the process of building a twin cam engine with plenty of photos, I would not use this book to guide me through an engine build. Loads of typos and errors which normally isn't a big deal but in an “instructional manual” its kind of essential that said manual is stating the correct part or process needed and not mistaking one part for another. That and the fact that most of the process depicted in this manual is done with expensive high tech equipment/machines that no average joe will have access to. Someone else stated in their review, and I’ll state it in mine, this manual feels more like an advertisement for R&R Cycles and how they do it, rather than a manual for you or me to follow or guide us. Going to be looking for other books on the topic because this one fell short of my expectations.

While there are few good tips if read carefully, this is more an ad for R&R Cycles. While I hear they do good work, you couldn't rebuild your bike from this manual. If you want hot rodding tips a better read would be Donny Petersen's series of books. He not only talks about various options, he explains the pros and cons of each and how they need to balance each other for best performance and/or reliability.

Excellent book if you are in search of general understanding.

Okay book, good quality as far as pictures and printing. Some of the content is questionable and lacking information in many regards but if your starting from scratch you could do worse as there is little offered for this engine. I was hoping for more but would buy it again.
