EGO Power+FN1800 18-Inch 5 Speed 20MPH Portable Misting Fan

Let me start by saying I don’t own any Ego products.I purchased this strictly because of its power and misting abilities for a camping trip in south Florida over 100FHoly smokes am I happy I purchased this thing. Is it pricey. Yeah. Does it work very very well. YES.This thing was very well built and moves a ton of air.The misting functionality is a game changer. It has four nozzles and it pulls water from a bucket. I’ve seen some misting fans out there but some only work with a hose. This fan WILL NOT work with a hose. In case you are wondering. I personally prefer the bucket since it’s more portable and easier to move around. Plus if you use a 5 gallon bucket it will last for hours and more if you use the intermittent misting function.PRO TIP: I’ve seen a lot of complaints on this and other sites where folks complain of the fan leaking water in the front. Mine was leaking as well. Thought I had to return it but thankfully I tried tightening the misting nozzles. That was the issue and quickly resolved it.Button controls are easy to use and very user friendly.Everything about this fan is great.Another call out is this fan was designed for portability. It will only work with an ego battery that’s not provided.All in all for the price wish it included a battery and charger but even with this I would definitely buy it again and maybe other ego products as wellLast thing. Make sure you get a 5 - 7.5 AMP battery.5 minimum.

Unit works very well. Mist feature is very effective.Dribbles just a bit as nozzles cycle on/off, nothing serious. Highly recommend.Works great with ego aftermarket batteries since EGo refuses to honor warranty on defective 2 year old battery.Aftermarket replacement at 1/2 cost + 3 year Amazon warranty for $13 is my new go to.

If you live in storm country or where power outages can be frequent, especially in hot weather, this fan is WAY overdue and a very welcome appliance! I live in a hurricane prone area that can cause power outages lasting days or longer. Usually generator hookup are called for to run fans but in an unexpected outage dragging out the generator can be a chore. Thus, this handy, easily stored unit. Set up and be running in two minutes with no cords, just the battery. During a recent power outage of about 12 hours in hundred degree August, this fan allowed a very comfortable, cool and stress-free sleep. Ran the fan on a lower spend and still had plenty of power left in it after 10 hours of use. Something all Floridians have wished for decades long ago is here. It it’s wonderful!
