Q: Is this truck all steel? The bed looks plastic

Thank you so much for your inquiry on the Tonka Truck Steel ratio format. In the "Steel" segment or truck line Tonka trucks have used the same consistent steel materials for the past 20 years. The main piece is steel while the wheels, underside and bumper are all plastic. The truck follows the same as the mainline Dump Truck whereas the cab is plastic and the dump bed is steel. The plastic pieces are all toy tested to pass all safety and strength tests to keep the truck Tonka Tough!
