The motor works well, but it is louder than I expected. I connected my wires directly to the tab contacts, but it would look neater if female connectors were included with the device.

I used this motor on my model train layout to raise and lower a "hot air balloon". The two RPMs are a good speed to raise/lower the balloon about 30 inches. The motor is a little louder than I would like. (I was aware from other posters that they were necessarily quiet.) However, when the trains are running, the balloon motor cannot be heard. For the price, I will likely buy again once I find another project to motorize.

Very satisfied with product

Very reliable heavy duty motor. It will get the job done. Only problem is that it’s not quiet. It’s fairly loud. Maybe I got a slightly louder one. I will be ordering a few more to see if anything changes but if it does not I will have to be looking for a more quiet motor

For the money, I think this motor is a pretty good bargain. I used the two rpm version to replace the BBQ rotisserie. It has a much bigger motor and all metal gears for less money than original with mostly plastic gears. I gave it 4 stars because it hardly had any grease that would lead to premature wear. It's easy enough to add some grease, but should come with more grease from the factory.
