Works with Asus Ally for 4K 120Hz HDR OLED Gaming
This dock works with the Asus Ally for 4K 120Hz HDR OLED gaming from my LG OLED TV. No VRR/FreeSync/GSync sadly. But 4K 120Hz 10-Bit with HDR all worked great so far. This is excellent for streaming via Moonlight from a network PC.

Does 4k120 with HDR on ROG Ally, but seems to overheat
This little dock works right out of the box, but I have noticed that if it's charging the Ally at full speed and also doing 4k120 it will overheat and have a hard time reconnecting to HDMI. Other than that it does 2.5GB ethernet and allows 100w pass through charging.

HDMI Port Nonfunctional on Macbook Pro M1 Pro 2021
This hub looks great on paper. However, I couldn't get the HDMI port to work at all with my Macbook Pro M1 Pro 2021 connected to a 4k 60hz monitor. The Macbook would detect the monitor, but it would cut out frequently. The display had visible artifacts (glitches) or would have no picture. I even tried with a brand new HDMI 2.1 cable from a reputable manufacturer. Same result if I dropped the refresh rate to 30hz. Will be returning it.Giving it 2 stars though because the ethernet port seems to work, but I wasn't able to test whether it actually operated at 2.5Gbps speeds.

I can't say with certainty that this delivers what is advertised...
I hunted for hours if not a couple of days for something that could possibly "future proof" me for a couple of years moving forward that would at minimum support 4k @ 120 Hz instead of the typical you see around right now, 4k @ 60 Hz. While I actually don't have a display at the moment that supports 4k @ 120 Hz...there are other concerns that have come up for me with testing this product in particular, and are the reason I plan to return this. I can't say with certainty that this device will output 4k @ 120 Hz correctly, and some other reviews point out it does not, but the other problems for me of continuing to use this device now outweigh that.I was happy to be able to output and display at the following formats with this:1080p @ 144 Hz2560x1440 @ 144 Hz2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz3840 x 2160 @ 60 HzEthernet port seems to work well and did not slow down my internet speeds without using the hub versus using it.The problems started to come in for me with using the USB ports in this hub. This hub is more modern in terms of specs, yet it has problems correctly powering and transmitting the connected USB devices I was using it with.I am using an Elgato HD 60 S+ and Elgato 15 key Stream Deck through this hub and the Elgato HD 60 S+ especially lags and eventually losing signal when working through this hub. This is a big problem for me and my use case with this set up. Mind you, I typically use both these USB devices in the same way with a much older USB C hub (~5 years old) and they have worked perfectly fine without issue to date.Because of the problems I have already tested for myself that I will seem to have with the USB ports if I keep using this hub, I have to return it and cannot keep this product. While I was assuming the only hurdle at some point would be testing 4k @ 120 Hz and hoping it would work in the future, is now at the bottom of the list of concerns for me with using this product.I'll have to keep looking for something that has the specs I'm looking for and works.

Confirmed HDMI 2.1 and works great with Steam Deck
This thing is great and a great compromise to some of the other more expensive docks. It has a microSD slot for multiple mounts (More games or another OS, if you prefer), and I've confirmed 4k @ 120hz on the deck using this dock. It's all plug and play and a great value considering. It works plug and play with the Steam Deck/SteamOS and allows charging while playing.

Stopped working
Workined fine for 3 months. Now the HDMI cuts in and out. Screen goes black for 1-3seconds then comes back on. Does that randomly every 10-30 seconds. When it worked it was good, full 4k with 120hz refresh rate. All USB ports worked. Ethernet worked but I only tested with gigabit, I don't have 2.5. Since it stopped I cannot not recommend this dock.

Cheap 2.5G Ethernet
Mostly bought this for the 2.5G Ethernet connection (plus a few USB-A ports). Not actually using it for power or video since this is connecting to a USB-C monitor.I tested all the capabilities and things are OK to start. Been using it as a hub + network adapter for a few weeks without issue.
