The perfect “short” shorts
These suits are AMAZING! I’m 6’1”, 194 lbs and the Medium fits perfectly. I was looking for a shorter swim suit that was roomy (but not poofy), had pockets (that can fit my iPhone 7+), that I could do a squat in (my usual fit test to ensure I can do life in them) and that I could wear all day. These fit the bill in all categories. They are crazy comfortable, stylish, short but not bootie shorts, and dry quickly. They have a great feel to them, don’t chafe and wearable all day. I have two pairs currently and plan to get more!

True to fit
Bought these for my hubby and he loves them. Was a little skeptical because the models all have washboard abs, but these fit perfectly for men with a belly, too. They really should advertise that.

Exactly expected - great
Purchased a Medium for my husband who is a 32" waist and 69" tall. Print is exactly what is displayed online, length went to my husband's mid thigh. They're now his favorite pair of swim trunks.

Rare find: They look as good in person as they do in pictures, and are well made!!!
These look as good in person as they do in the pictures. Was very relieved when I got these... It's hard to tell when you buy online, but they don't look cheap, and seem to be well made.I actually bought multiple pairs because the price is so good and the styles so many. I had a girlfriend come over and help me pick two to keep out of five that I ordered, and honestly it was really hard to pick only two because they all looked great. They are medium short (2022 style) but not tight fitting. They look stylish and a bit retro while not looking 'queer' (nothing wrong with queer, just pointing out these are a bit wild while you still look masculine).Honestly, it's a rare find. So many times I've bought fashion on Amazon and when it showed up it just looked cheap, and returned it or never wore it. So, this is a breath of fresh air, I really love these swim trunks and so far they seem to be holding up.

Just about perfect!
Got to say, these MaaMgic swim trunks are just about perfect for me. I use them for running and bicycling and occasionally swimming. They are the closest thing to 1970s, and 1980s style, and 30 years is how long I've been looking for them! Not quite 1970s size, longer inseams and length but I am cringing when I see the originals in old movies so this is a good compromise. I wear a large, inseam is just over 4" (4 1/8" versus claimed 4.5" for large - which is fine by me) and the legs are cut in a bit - most swim trunks on the market look a bit silly with straight legs, at least on me by having to wear large because of my big bottom.I would prefer solid colors, and MaaMgic makes a less expensive (about $5 less per pair) solid color model with the identical fit without the edge trim (also sold on Amazon) but these are superior in most ways. The fabric is softer with an amazing thread count, the less expensive ones are stiffer and make a bit of noise. However, the less expensive ones shed water faster and the mesh liner is a larger mesh also allowing water to go through easier. However the shorts I'm reviewing has a finer mesh liner and is far more comfortable for cycling. I really notice the difference after a couple hours ride. One other small peeve, they added stitching to the front to mimic a zipper flap. That seems silly to me, just as it would in men's running shorts. Also, my personal preference is to have the drawstring on the inside, but outside is where most makers have been putting them the last few years. None of the ones from the 1980s have outside ones. The 3 pockets on both models are just perfect.

and a good fit. This particular cut is not made of ...
The shorts are made well, and a good fit. This particular cut is not made of stretch-material. The large size fits a 34-36 inch waist, and the shorts hit mid-thigh. Not too short, and not too long. I bought several different styles of the MaaMgic shorts, and they are all great. I will be buying more!

NOT FOR THE ATHLETICALLY BUILT, NO STRETCH
Aside from the elastic waist band, nothing stretches in these trunks. I ordered XL and XXL in 3 colors with 1 more on the way. And they use to same drawstring on each color, so that looks stupid.I'm a fairly proportionate guy at 6'-4" 265-lbs usually wearing a 40-42W to give me room in the thighs, butt, and crotch. The XXL was my best hope after shoehorning this booty, still felt like a camping tent holding back angry cattle.. Nope. If they made a XXXL, which sounds awful, then yes, maybe, they would work. Maybe. The front? Yeah, the theatrics continued as these trunks created the most subtle yet firm cameltoe I've ever experienced creating a most decisive look to my penis and testicles.. Nope. These trunks are not designed for the physically equipped. That's all I can say. In the front and back.. Not for the special ones that walk this Earth like me.They look great, but the cut? I'm not sure what kind of man these are made for.. so, all you guys that love'em? ........lolIf you want comfort, try GINGTTO trunks. They stretch in all directions. I like their XXL.
