Good
Nice addition but the screws won’t fit where the current ones screw into so you need to disassemble the whole build jut for this minor thing. I did it because my Liam li case had longer screws already and I unscrewed the board and put the lights on without taking all the tubes and coolant off. Excuse the cable I’m actually working on able management

2nd one worked fine…
The 1st one I received was defective & had some flickering LEDs in the longer strip. Had to request replacemenr & send original back. Was a bummer as I made the assumption being new that there was no need to test it. So after installing the Motherboard in my new build & then connecting the ARGB strip did I then find it had an issue. So double the work to remove the mobo to pull out the bad set, pretest the replacement & then install the replacement. If your mobo has a metal support plate you may potentially have issues using this since this could throw off how your mobo sits at the rear intergal I/O panel to your metal RF I/O panel shield. Got lucky in my case it just eeked by without misaligning anything! It does however add a nice lighting effect!

Looks great, easy install!
Great argb mobo light strips. Easy to install, easy to sync. Can be daisy chained. And look great. Thumbs up!

Meh product, Subpar instructions, Awful packaging
Package arrived with my fans from the same brand. The packaging, unlike most of their quality products, was made of what felt like cheap cardstock and barely survived shipping. Inside was lined with foam and felt, but again, the packaging was hanging on by mere threads. The manual gave basic instructions, but didnt bother to include the step with the standoffs, which are slightly higher than your normal motherboard standoffs to accomodate the light bars. After install (which was challenging as the screw on the standoff extractor that came with the standoffs stripped) I proceeded to boot my computer, but my pc proceeded to shut off during boot. As it turned out, the argb daisy chain cable that connect both sides were shorting pins on the back of my motherboard, causing the issue. After taping the whole back of my motherboard, the crisis was averted, but I didnt feel confortable with it installed and decided to remove it shortly before this review. The fit was good, but the rgb was spotty and had bright spots, and the bottom part of the light bar just isnt controllable by rgb software. For 20 ish dollars it felt extremely cheap, light as a feather. Overall, if youre looking for a way to improve your pc aesthetics, I suggest you steer clear of this product.

IMPORTANT REVIEW!!! If your item seems to only half work
The media could not be loaded. I rebuilt my PC 4-5 times getting this to work because I didn’t think of one important piece. This seems to need to connect directly to your motherboard (if possible). Otherwise you have a half working light strip. You also need to rebuild the pc 75% At least to get this to fit behind the motherboard screws so keep that in mind.I have a prebuilt PC I wanted to spruce up and add some more lights into it. I daisychained the connection along with the existing fan 3 pin connections and rebuilt the PC only to find that about 50% of the lights worked. It went to about the top 3 lights on the larger side. I assumed it was broken and got a replacement, this time I just plugged it in without rebuilding it and same issue… I realized I had a Corsair controller that was lighting and powering all my fans so I went to the front of my an found a 3 pin. I plugged it into that and it worked properly. They were good about replacing it but it would be nice if they gave that information in the description so people didn’t think they got broken or defective units.

Worth it!
These accent lights are the perfect addition for your RGB builds! My motherboard (Asus Prime z790 a vx) is pretty dull and has no RGBs built into it so I grabbed a set of these and they look really good with the rest of the system!Just a heads up, you will pretty much need to take the GPU out (if your vertical mounted) because you need to be able to un screw the motherboard from the case to slide these lights behind the mother board and onto the existing case screw holes. So it is best to order these before you start your build, if you haven’t already.
