There are so many options for pet water fountains on amazon, but I chose this one because it seemed easy to clean. After using it for a few weeks, I can say that's true... Kind of.Pros:- Very quiet- Looks nice- Can be taken off the base to be cleaned- Auto shutoff when low water level- The main bowl is smooth and easy to cleanCons:- Doesn't take in standard filters- Some parts are still difficult to clean, like the top part where the water comes out at a weird 90° angle- Once installed on the induction base, the bowl cannot rotate freely; it has to be set in a fixed positionI wanted a fountain that was easy to clean. While this one is easier to clean than most other fountains, there are some parts that are still hard to clean thoroughly.

It’s very easy to operate, makes barely any noise, is a very gentle trickle, and my two cats took to it easily. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact that the replacement filters are a specially size and come from the US (I’m in Canada) and are not readily available and are expensive. You can use the generic filters, however, that are a bit bigger but can be made to fit for a lot cheaper and are easy to get.

Now I live in an apartment and my ragdoll fur would get stuck and even cling to other fountains. Others got too loud or too tricky to refill and assemble but not this one. My cat also can enjoy the filtered water she grew up with all her life too. Added bonus: it's quiet as a mouse.

We have just thrown out 4 flower fountains as they sputtered and were loud then stopped. And they took many steps to clean and many tries to re-assemble after cleaning. We wondered why a more straightforward system did not exist. Tried this one due to great reviews and sale price then bought more. It fits together naturally and is silent. Hallelujah. Still feels a tad flimsy and costs more than it should but cats all love it, used it immediately and Hubby appreciated design.

Very quiet. Water flow that the cats love. I have had other water fountains. One just died and one was too big. This one is the best. Sorry I didn't buy 2 of these but I thought I would get 2 different ones this time to see what they like best. The flow from this wins. My cats are 2 year, 1 year and 4 months all like water moving but apparently not too fast. This is perfect. They don't like drinking from a regular dish, they drink far less, as soon as I set this up they had great long drinks and are now full of energy! Easy with it being wireless to bring to sink to clean. 100% recommend.Update. (Months later) This fountain is still the cats favorite. Super easy to top up with water too.
