8" All-U-Need Rock & Mineral Polisher

This machine is well made.....very solid. I like the different speeds that it has. It's definitely a quality piece of equipment. My only complaint is the drip tank. The knob to turn the water on or off is not exact.....meaning it's hard to tell when it's in the closed position. I think the overall design of the drip tank could have been improved.....and the plastic on/off knob should have been replaced by a brass/metal type valve. Other than this the machine works quite well. I've purchased other equipment from this company and their products are very high quality.

Very nice machine. It can be used for high polishing with the interchangeable disks. Not real loud and has a nice adjustable rpm dial. Stays in place when in use.

So far so good I used this for many hours before the review easy to set up and use comes with everything shown. I will say I'm getting some new grinding wheels to use with ones that come in this kit to make polishing easier and make wheels last longer. Also is a great design I would only change the size of cups but that in a non issue really great kit.

Great machine, great customer service. Comes with all you need to get started polishing stones. Customer service is great and fast with answering questions and any issues you may have. Motor is strong and easily adjusted with the dial. I've created many cabochons using this lap machine.

The machine works. It would do a much better job though with sanding disks that don't skip so many grits. Also, I don't understand why Hi tech designed this and the lapidary saw with dis similar metals in the shafts. Maybe for expense, but I would appreciate not having to maintain them every couple of months when I use them about every 6 months.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We have cut and polished so many rocks since then. This thing is great! I would recommend buying an 80 grit disc for initial shaping to save a lot of time. Easy to use, good quality. Would buy again.

Amazing what right tool can do ! Instead of spending money on cheaper diy I should have bought it right away .
