I bought this to replace my 4 year old $40 RCA digital antenna with signal amplifier (square plastic housing type). We had some trouble getting a few local channels so we decided to upgrade. The difference in signal strength is significant. There were 2 local channels that were very spotty after sundown. They happened to be major networks that broadcast football/basketball games which is why we upgraded. I hung this antenna in the same spot in our attic and it gives us clear uninterrupted audio and video on those same channels with much stronger signal strength.

After installing two of these antennas. I now receive less channels than with the two cheaper ones that I bought at a Flea Market a year ago. Very easy to set up and install, however, I now receive less channels. But I am going to try to fine tune the antenna to the location of the transmitter of the stations I lost. After checking all the stations that I use to get and their transmitter locations I used a compass to turn the antennas to the location degree location that was in between the lowest degree and the highest degree. After doing all of this and checking the cables I still found that I did not receive all of the channels I had before. Thus I removed these and reinstalled the old ones and now I have all of my channels back.

Just finished installing this on my father-in-laws roof. He has a very old TV (a console model Quasar) I attached the old cable to antenna. He is getting some more channels. Only downside is that I couldn't get any of the three included mounting hardware to work just right, but that shouldn'[t be a problem because it is advertised as multi directional. It is 30 miles to where most of the TV towers are located, although there could be some boosters, nearby. Works OK, but I'm not sure one half the price would have worked just as well.

I've owned the antenna for over a year now. The real value is the relative small size gives you so many options for mounting while the reception is much better than any of the flat antenna's I have tried. Using the "Antenna Point" application proved that it truly is omnidirectional receiving stations front and rear. A real advantage to the directional ones unless you enjoy constantly changing direction.

well designed antenna but weak performance..only recieved 35 channels other antenna 63 60 miles away from new york city 9 stories high..returning for refund

I bought this for my in-laws. They did not want to pay for cable. It was very easy to install and setup. It comes with 30-foot cable, booster amplifier, and three mounting kits.It is a really well made product. They get around 63 channels. The HD picture quality is amazing. In the past, they were watching standard cable TV channels and due to the poor picture quality, they thought there was something wrong with their TV!

I live in Las Vegas, NW area and was only receiving 37 channels using the Channel Master Omni-directional SMARTenna. I placed this antenna in the same location as my old one. Now getting 52 channels and the reception on some of the channels that I was already getting has also improved. Very happy with this purchase.

Poor signal

i was a tad apprehensive buying this product after reading some of the reviews, but i should'nt have been i have put this aerial in my loft and as i live in cornwall our signal reception is not the greatest, it took as much time to pick up a signal as it did to connect it . it is state of the art and it delivers picture quality , could'nt be happierregardsjohn

Aufgrund meiner bisherigen Erfahrungen mit der Monarch-Zimmerantennen war ich mit ihrer Leistung sehr zufrieden.Beim Testen ihrer Außenantennenversion konnten meine Eltern alle Kanäle empfangen, die in ihrer Umgebung verfügbar sind.Die Antenne ist recht klein und kompakt. Dies erleichtert das Anbringen an schwer zugänglichen Stellen wie einem Dach.Die Antenne kommt mit einem Signalverstärker, den ich schließlich nicht benutzte, da der Empfang ohne sehr gut ist.Ein sehr gutes Antennenset, insbesonder, weil es drei verschiedenen Montageoptionen gibt.

La plaquette électronique était cassée, mon conjoint qui par chance est technicien en électronique la réparait, une fois ceci fait réception franchement moyenne, ont c'en sert en FM.
