Don't get the cheap imitations that universally fit.
We had problems with plosives on a lapel mic. We were using cheap knock-off windscreens. These are great quality and fit perfectly. Well worth the extra money. Noticeable reduction in plosives.

Better than your average windscreen
The Snap-Fit windscreens are the preferred windscreens that we use at my university because it elevates the windscreen from the mic meaning you don't get any scraping sounds when the windscreen accidentally rubs against the mic. They also fit on non-Shure lavalier mics like the cheaper priced ones made by Pyle and work far better than the generic screens that come with those cheaper mics.The product comes with four total windscreens.
