El sonido es muy pésimo

First of all i can't comment on the 4k cause i dont have a player yet.I bought this edition for the bluray wich i heard was a new transfer just like the 4k disc.I didnt have the movie at all on bluray and i figured i would get the 4k for the future when i do get the player.I heard some reviewers on here say that the bluray included is the same older disc transfer.When i started watching the movie there were brief times where i started to wonder and also by looking at the art on the disc it seemed to look more like the art of the old disc but nope this is a new transfer from the original negative just like it was said was done for the 4k.One thing that gives it away that its a new transfer is the bluray menu wich is the new boring simple menus that warner uses on most of theyre disc theses days lol.The menus look like it was done by a novice using an old windows program lol.Just basic icons nothing fancy and no effort put into it.Even the picture used for the menu is terribly grainy and shouldnt have been used even if it is the original poster art.But lets forget the bad menu.Let's get back to the actual picture quality.Its the best this movie has ever looked on bluray.The grain structure is not always perfect unlike other new remasters and there is some softness in a good number of shots.Its not always razor sharp details but you can tell its just related to the source that is indeed a new transfer on bluray.But source issues aside dont get me wrong the picture looks really good to look at for the way it was shot.If you like the movie and you can understand that its an older movie that was shot in a certain way with a dirty look and a soft kind of focus at times then you should be please to see that it looks the best its ever looked.In other words its a good transfer of this film.There is no dnr (digital noise reduction).The movie is just left to look the way it was meant to look and thats all you can ask for from a new transfer of an old film.There are some great detailed shots through.There is some depth.There is some textures showing.Colors look the way they were meant to look.But i did notice a few shots where there was a line vertically from top to bottom.Very light line wich is probably damage to the negative or something like that.It didnt happen too long.Just a few seconds in some shots in the middle of the movie.I dont think that was fixable for who did the transfer So its not theyre fault.The sound on the bluray is 5.1.Not the best mix i found but perfectly acceptable.Extras are only 1 trailer for the film.Wish they would have added some extras like a making off or the tina turner video for the song 'we dont want another hero'.Anyways when it comes to the movie well i hadnt seen it in a while and i remembered it being not as good as 'the road warrior' and i remember it having a part in the middle involving children that kind of slowed down the momentum a bit.But i did remember liking it still.Well when i saw it yesterday my impression was a bit the same but i would say it was even better than i remembered.Its not the road warrior cause frankly that one is the best and most bad ass ones of the classic mad max films.The road warrior is a huge classic and has such a dark and moody atmosphere.But given that thunderdome is directed by the same guy George miller we get the same type of movie here again with the same weird scenes splattered through the movies that gives it its unique touch.And the style is pretty much the same also.George miller sure knows how to make theses movies or make a mad max movie.This movie also becomes a classic for having Tina turner as the main villain.Just the way she looks is classic with her costume and all.Her acting is a bit strange though.Not sure its good lol.But this is not a drama or shakespear so i guess it doesnt matter.Its an action adventure movie and there is plenty of that.I am glad i got this movie from amazon with a slipcover.I didnt expect to get one considering how long this movie has been out since me buying it lol.Nice surprise.

I purchased this in blu-ray...classic mad max, and so I could see Tina's beautiful legs as she boards her raptor in the "good bye soldier " seen. Hahaha
