The Guarded One (Falcon Falls Security)

We are back with Falcon Falls Security and readers of the previous books will know exactly what we'll be getting with this fast paced and action packed romance, this time featuring Sydney and Beckett, characters we might have thought would have been paired with other people. I am a big fan of these type of books and enjoyed this one.

I really don’t how Brittney does it. Each book just gets better and better. She has knocked it out of the park with The Guarded One. We met Beckett in AJ’s book and he is known as Mr grumpy but forget all that readers as he brings out his soft sexy side for the one woman that he can’t get out of his head since Savanna and Griffins wedding, Sydney ( the ice queen). Sydney is as guarded as Beckett as they are both over protective parents of teenagers but even she can get all mushy for the right man.This book has plot twists, laughter and tears of joy and sadness.The hot and cold banter between Mya and Oliver is off the charts. Can’t wait for there book to come and see what happens.Thank you again Brittney for another outstanding book. Enjoy everyone. Xxx

What excellent books read the first book and became absolutely hooked!!These books are definitely in the category of not being to put them down.From romance to heart pumping action and to think I wasn't sure it was going to be my cup is tea!!Now I have to read all the series and associated books!!!!Definitely well worth reading

Brittney is one of my favourite authors. She doesn't dissapoint.I read this book while pregnant and post pregnancy. So even thought I took gaps I could still pick up the story and was eager to do so.The guarded one is part of a series and I love when there are crossovers from the stealth ops books. If you haven't read these go back and start them too.As always thank you Brittney. Super excited for the next instalment in the Falcon series

Beckett is a small town sheriff after leaving with his daughter for a quieter life HI ex was a con artist alwasy wanting something bigger and better and she left him with their daughter only popping up when she needed help. She was in trouble again and he was going to Mexico to save her yet again. Sydney was on holiday trying to tease Maya to working for her security company. She was going through a bad time when her husband had an affair with her best friend and it appeared they were getting married. Fate brought her and Beckett together and she set about helping him. It was dangerous and lots of favours were called in to save Cora, her sister and a boy. The story is a lengthy one; be prepared to concentrate because a lot happens in a short period. Didnt like a the names thrown at you in the first few chapters; too many I thought.

Ms. Sahin again has delivered a highly addictive, emotionally charged action story that is hard to put down as you become so invested in the outcomes for the various characters. Beckett and Sydney are so in tune with each other and their bonds with their children are enviable. Not sure if my heart rate will return to normal after reading this - between the hotness of Beckett and Sydney, the love-hate with Mya and admirers, lovesick/jealous men, conniving exes, amazing teens, interweaving destinies, fate, predictions, danger, heartbreak and lots of action. An excellent read.I received an ARC of this book but voluntarily leave this review.

I'm still numb - this book is that good! Sydney and Becketts story/journey is a rollercoaster ride, highs and lows full of emotion. The chemistry between the pair jumps off the page. The baddies, jumping in a sink hole, shooting cartel members, and a devious ex aren't able to beat these two. Throw in the children involved, a heart wrenching scene, you'll know which one when you get to it that'll bring on the ugly crying. Brittney Sahin has a writing skill to admire and devour - don't miss this book.

Wow, I loved it. Can't wait to read more of this author books. I realised I need to go back and read book one as I started on book 2 by mistake but I don't think it matters. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and the storylines are great.
