MREs packaging was quite organized, but quite a couple had damage or holes in the waterproof bags. Had an instance of an MRH leaking water about 1 to 2 cm at the side seams. I recommend having tape on hand to prevent this if you buy. MRH may also have issues with warming up, following directions. Everything else is ok, the coffee is perfect, and surprisingly great!I would recommend this product with only a few minor manufacturing issues.

Shipping was fast and the MRE’s were fresh (stored well in climate controlled conditions). I received my order on 1/14/24 and the date code year for all 6 mre’s was 2021. Perfect! They’ll easily last 3-5 more years in a closet. Each pack include a flameless ration heater, drink powder, and the famous brown US MRE spoon! Per the website mreinfo.com, each menu has a specific accessory pack. Pack “A” includes a spoon, one pack of instant coffee, creamer, sugar or Splenda, moist towelette, salt, and toilet tissue. Pack “B” includes Sugar free beverage base powder (ex. orange, lemon lime or raspberry), one pack of matches, two pieces of sugar free gum (cinnamon or mint), moist towelette, salt and toilet tissue.I received the following random menus: #5 Chicken Chunks-accessory pack B; #13 Cheese Tortellini-accessory pack B, #17 Maple Pork Sausage Patty-accessory pack A; #18 Beef Ravioli-accessory pack B; #19 Jalapeño Beef Patty-accessory pack A; and #24 Southwest Style Beef and Black Beans-accessory pack A. Each MRE outer tan bag was in perfect condition. Inside each bag was a main entree, side dish, bread and spread (ex., crackers, bread, jelly, peanut butter or cheese spread), dessert (ex., cookie or pound cake), drink powder (Gatorade-like drink, dairy shake, or cocoa).I was very pleased with the supplier shipping my order promptly. The product was undamaged and a good value at $11.50 each. It was nice purchasing a small quantity to check out real US military MRE’s. I will definitely buy a case or two for emergency use in the car while traveling, tornado, flooding, or another pandemic food shortage! I highly recommend!

Product arrived next day. Packages were all sealed, nothing appeared to be crushed. Food packs were well within the expiration date (of the two we've opened, both meal packs were dated 2031). The pack of M&Ms in the 2nd pack was expired (2023) - so I'm guessing these were packed in 2021. The M&Ms weren't melted and tasted fine - these have been stored properly. Chemical heater worked just fine. Would order again.

So far I've eaten 3 of these meals and while the food quality is a bit varied (all of it would be fine for emergencies and hadn't gone bad or anything), I've had problems with every single heater so far. For the first heater it was likely my fault for adding a bit too much water, but there was pretty much zero heat from that one regardless. For the second, there was loose sand all over the heater pack, and it didn't seem to function when I added the correct amount of water to the bag.For the third, the pack looked fine and there was no loose sand-- I was careful to fill it up exactly to the lines, and there was barely any heat generated even though I properly followed the instructions this time, and even had looked up a video tutorial for it just to make sure that I wasn't missing anything. Nowhere near enough heat to actually heat up the meal even after waiting the full 10-15 minutes and checking it frequently.

This lot contain a variety of meals from beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian. I sampled two of the meals and found both were good and very filling. The instructions for the flameless heating pouches were very easy to follow and heated the entries very well. Why not necessary for the meals to be eaten, having water is required for the flameless heating pouches and enjoying the powdered drink mixes. The individual meal pouches were labeled "resealable' but I could not find any way to do that. On all, is it nor is our idea to have on hand for any emergency situations or camping trips.
