When I work in a studio I’m used to rooms full of racks, computers and miles of wires. When I work at home I want my studio to be absolutely minimalist. For that I use an HP Z4G2 graphics arts mini workstation, a 27” monitor and sometimes a DVD burner to make approval proofs for clients. The Z4 is awesome but the I/O ports are not easily accessible for media cards and drives or sometimes another removable device. That’s where this little gadget comes in, it does two things - lets me plug in my mini hub so it’s oriented at an angle where it’s usable by me, and it helps keep excessive wear on the port built in to the CPU at a minimum.I’m not a rocket scientist and I don’t know or care why USB C peripherals are limited to a cable length of only a few inches or why we can’t use extension cables that can support everything USB C is able to do but apparently these right angle adapters are fully compatible with most peripherals and they have a negligible signal loss.A COUPLE OF THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOWAt the risk of repeating what others may have said it should be noted that you get two of these things and they are absolutely identical, there is no left and right because USB C can be inserted in either direction.The other thing I would like to say is that I don’t know if this one is any better or worse than the other ones that are similar in design. I chose this brand because they had the highest number or voters that were mostly positive so it was a good one to take a chance on, and it worked out very well for me so I like it.

What I wanted but there is that goes lefthand and the other goes righthand I missed that in the description. But they work great!

I bought Poyiccot 90 degree USB Type C 2-Pack Adapter for $8.99 from Poyiccot on July 9, 2019. I use this on my Dell Latitude 5480 and it is just perfect. I use a Bluetooth computer mouse with my left hand, and the one USB Type-C port on my Dell is also on the left side. This 90 degree adapter allows me to push the cable away so it does not interfere with my mouse. One of the adapters is used with my Dell dock at the office, and the other adapter is attached to my USB Type-C cable for when I am traveling.When used on my Dell dock, all functions (Power Delivery, data transfer, etc.) work without any issues, and the adapter fits quite well on both the male and the female ends. The adapter feels well-constructed, and I have no doubt that the adapter will last a long time.I am very happy with this product, and would buy again if I need more. Recommended!

Revised my review done earlier in regard to Poyiccot 2-pack 90 degree USB-C male to female adapter. I gave the review one star after I received and opened the package on 04/03/20 and found out it was 1-pack instead of 2-pack. I sent the message to Poyiccot thru Amazon. Poyiccot answered quickly and explained that it was an error of packing process and Poyiccot sent me a replacement and I got 2-pack items on 04/11/20. So my problem is solved. I was also asked me keep the 1-pack item that I received earlier, not to return back to the seller and this is very nice. I got all 3 right angled adapters and test all of them. They are compatible and work perfectly for everything including my cell phone particularly to reduce charging cable stress in my car.I realized that anyone can have an error of doing things. The seller Poyiccot had an occasional human error of packaging but I got the problem solved quickly due to their excellent customer care. I then decide to give Poyiccot's products and excellent customer care 5 stars.

These USB-C angle adapters initially worked well for charging a phone. Unfortunately, after less than year they sometimes would stop charging if moved. At this point, all six that I purchased are either non-functional or quit charging if the phone is moved even slightly. Granted, they were relatively inexpensive, but I was expecting they would last longer.

I have a new laptop with 4 Thunderbolt inputs/outputs and needed 2 right-angle connectors in my current desk configuration to route the power and data connections in a maximally useful manner. These adapters are doing the trick! I'm routing power from the 130-watt charger through one of them, and the data to my external ultrawide monitor through the other. Several reviewers commented that data throughput using these adapters might not meet the 50 Mbps Thunderbolt 3 standard but thus far I have not noticed any performance impairment using one of these adapters in the connection to my monitor . Maybe I'll see some pixelation or other artifacts when I try gaming and it will be easy enough to tell whether or not that's due to the adapter by simply removing it, but I haven't gotten that far yet. Interesting that the product description says there are "right & left angled" adapters included - with the USB-C/Thunderbolt configuration there is no difference!

It handles 2 external 4K monitors, and powering the laptop at full power - I am often running that Dell close to full tilt.Used this for bit over a year, with a roughly daily plug and unplug cycles.The first adapter is just been retired as it was getting unreliable. And I'm swapping to the second one.Ideally I'd have two adapters, one left on the cord and one left plugged into the laptop, which would put all the wear and tear on these replaceable adapters. Might try that when I get some more.Don't know what Dell was thinking when they designed their short, stout docking cables to come straight into the side of the laptop. But these adapters gave me the flexibility to position things in a number a reasonable ways.
