ASVP Shop Minion Glasses Fancy Dress Despicable Me Glasses

I bought this for a costume party and knew it wouldn’t be the best quality given its price. That said, I did expect that I could at least use it for one full night but it broke (strap came off and couldn’t be fixed) around two hours into use. It was hanging loose around my neck for most of the time so not really being used anyway! I wasn’t too bothered as the costume was only necessary for the first hour to be seen but it’s something to bear in mind. One off use, yes, but this could cause tears with kids.

My son loves minions, so I thought this would be the perfect gift especially with his pyjamas and other minion stuff I’ve bought. He was very pleased and hasn’t stopped putting the glasses on ever since. Was supposed to be for his birthday however gave it to him early and I’m so happy I did

Not sure I was a very convincing minion at the toddler group party but I draw the line at painting myself yellow at 9:30am on a Tuesday.Not the comfiest of goggles but hey, the toddlers had a giggle.

I would have to say, I think they are overpriced, as they are very basic construction. But I don’t suppose you buy something like this with the expectation of it lasting a lifetime. It is just a fun, plaything, toy.And, importantly, my Granddaughter loved them.

Product is fine. Bought for an adult fancy dress costume but glasses far too small, same with strap. All good though.
