Well made cable of high quality
Used this product to replace the standard cheap cable provided with the FTTC modem. It’s not going to massively increase your speed, but it did help improve the SNR margin and therefore stability of the internet connection. 0.5m helped tidy the area around the phone line too, no excess cable.

Increased my sync speed by over 13%!
I have been really impressed with this item. I was having slower than expected sync speeds on my fibre broadband using the 2m cable supplied with the router. Openreach engineer was getting 64mbps sync when he connected directly into the test socket, but I wasn't getting anywhere near this.I replaced the supplied cable with this one (0.5m) and my sync speed instantly increased from 56.5mbps to 64.1mbps.(I also replaced the ethernet cable between my router and wireless access point from a cat 5 to a cat 7, but I wouldn't expect that to affect the sync speed)If you are using a "long" ISP-supplied cable then I would definitely recommend giving this a go.

It's neither thick nor sheer - what it is is effective
Amazon are giving me the weirdest criteria to rate products on these days. Ignore those - what you need to know is that this short cable will connect your FTTC broadband modem to the wall with a minimum of fuss. That said, it needed a bit of a shove into the back of my BT modem in order to engage the clip - a casual push was not really enough to lock in, so use the appropriate amount of heft.
