Of what material are these dishes made?

Not sure reminds me of Corelle dishes, works in microwave oven without the overheating cleans easily. Items very nice. I bought 2 as I am impressed with product.

The plate is 8.25 inches in diameter. It comes with a wide rim so the well of the plate is right at 5.38 inches.

Are these plates dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes they are. I did not keep them. I decided they were too expensive for what you get. I use my salad plate or desert plate. I also bought Pyrex glass with life’s. They come in 2, 4,8pz containers. Much cheaper.

Great after gastric sleeve.

This set is perfect size after gastric sleeve. I love the measurement markings are designed to just look decorative. No numbers or anything to draw attention.

Great set for bariatric patients!

Had bariatric surgery a few months ago and find this set extremely useful to help me with my portion sizes. I use this set with a small cutlery set as well. Together I’ve used them to re-teach me how to eat a healthy portion and has slowed down my eating. It’s a few months after my surgery but I still find this set to be extremely useful and well sized.

Makes life easier

It's easy to overeat. This is helpful because I just put whatever I want on my plate or in the bowl. No need to weigh everything. You don't realize how little food you need. At first, I thought I would starve if I followed these serving sizes, but I feel full without being miserable.
