I bought these for kids I was teaching to needlepoint on plastic canvas. The needles that came with the kit I bought were abysmal. These were a good variety of sizes, had an ample number of each size, and the screw-top case was great for storage. The 11 & 9 year old boys that I got them for were delighted. The eyes on the needles were also nice & large, good for threading yarn.

the needles seem fine and im sure they will last a while but its the container that's the real winner. keeps everything together with room for more- and I wont loose them!

Needles: seems durable; not bendable. not pointy, but tapers to a (not perfectly uniform) flat or rounded tip -- balances not splitting the yarn vs. getting between stitches. [long hole, long shaft] fits my medium weight (-4+) yarns comfortably snug [long hole, shorter shaft] same hole size and shaft, uh, girth as above needle [short hole, shortest shaft] fits my size 10 crochet thread loosely -- will probably fit all thicker and thinner thread Container: very satisfying all the needles are homed together; sometimes squeaks when unscrewing lid (thin plastic) Good buy. They're needles.

Just a described! Comes in a compact case, perfect for storage and traveling. I only needed one needle, but I’m sure these will all come in handy down the road as I get more skilled and confident.
