Routeros took some trial and error.After a few months though... I love this switch.Tons of features. Real time data. Asic routing. Bgp, ospf, etc.It's solid.No issues at all passing multiple 100g links.

Far and away the best way to beef up your network. I have been chasing faster and faster transfer speeds for my home network and finally landed on this gem. It is able to fill all my needs and them some with four 100gbit ports. It also runs cooler and quieter than my 10gbit switch so color me surprised. The only thing I am not liking with the switch is the front mounted power supplies as they mess with my rack layout.All in a great switch 10/10!

Great value switch (for 100gbe at least) that supports a wide range of interface speeds and breakout options. If you’re experienced with Mikrotik RouterOS this will feel very familiar and will be relatively easy to set up. However, be aware that you may have to enable FEC to achieve 100gbe with some NICs. My ConnectX4 Mellanox cards needed this (FEC91) to hit 100gbps. Auto configuration doesn’t seem to properly deal with this in the current firmware revision (as of 1/2023).

The manual provided on the website is full of mistakes.For example, "connect computer PCIE to the router" does not make any sense at all. Also, if we connect Eth1 to the WAN with DHCP, how can we know the IP of the router to connect to it? The machine includes a Console port, no information is provided on this port, e.g., BAUD rate, which make it useless.The router will not work automatically without any configuration; the QSFP28 will not automatically with QSFP+ or SFP28 optics.

This is an excellent switch. I would say to the 1 star review, you should probably know what you are doing before you purchased the product.

It works great with web interface. Relatively easy to set up (though understand that 100Gbe takes more technical knowledge than 1Gbe)
