I bought this for my eleven year old daughter's room. I installed it under the crown moulding and around a tall free standing bookshelf and around door casings. This was easy to install partially because the strand wire feels almost like its made out of a twist tie where you can shape it a bit and it stays. Fairly light when installing. Scotch tape should work although I was having some difficulty of this tape sticking on higher gloss trim -- I remember scotch tape being more sticky as a kid. I did not use this outside so I can't comment on that use. The bulbs are very bright and the remote has many options for patterns and brightness as well. One tip -- make sure you get the amount you actually need. I feel like 200 ft was overkill as I went around the room and bookshelf and still needed to use up the reel. I did it by framing the casing on her door as well as bathroom door -- both sides of her entry door. I think it looks cool but I primarily did that to use up the lights. Great product for the money -- very bright and many options for pattern and brightness. Would recommend.

I bought this to hang zig zag on the wall and add pictures with little clothespins. I have had to replace them since they are fragile and break easy. The lights were working fine but someone bumped against them and the wire broke. When turned on, the lights closer to the plug end are brighter than the lights at the far end. I use these with a smart plug that's controlled by Alexa and they turn on everytime. I would buy them again.

I have been using it for two years as decorative lighting above the table. It works perfectly, and I am very satisfied.

I have bought two sets of these fairy lights. The first one broke before the warranty expired (I did not realize that they had a one year warranty). When I purchased the second set, I also purchased Asurion insurance. The second set stopped functioning properly before a year from purchase. Asurion had me contact Resnice to replace, but after two separate messages went unanswered, Asurion proceeded ro reimburse me. These lights are expensive and not worth it, particularly since they do not last even a year and the company does not reply and/or stand behind its warranty.

The purple and orange LED lights do not look like purple and orange they look like red and blue, not orange and purple

I love these lights! I would give 5 stars but I cannot figure out how to keep them on one mode at a time besides 'steady'. The instructions did not have any info on how to set a mode to keep on. I want to set them to 'twinkle' but they only 'twinkle' for a few seconds then run thru all of the modes one by one. They were easy to work with and very flexible. I put push pins up before hanging and then strung the lights around each push pin. They look great! I have gotten so many compliments.

I got the 100ft. string. I was expecting a bigger roll of lights so when I got this neat tiny roll of them, I was really concerned that they wouldn't be long enough. But they were enough plus a good few feet left over. They were delivered really fast and they were neatly packaged. The lights are tiny but pretty bright. But not too bright. The remote works okay but I wish the blinking features were different cause they kind of go a little crazy and a little too....fast on a lot of the settings. I wish there was a mellow blinking feature that stayed mellow. Oh, well. Doesn't bother me to return or not to buy again if needed to do so. :) I'm happy with them. Very delicate looking.

1 set covered a 6’ Christmas tree, 1 remote with 7 settings speed and light dimming options. Works like it should.

Put them up, they worked, then stopped for good. A lot of work to put them up, less when you are pissed off…..we got a solid 5 minutes out of them…..in fairness the first set we got worked fine until the wire was cut. Still not happy and will not buy them again.
