Great as is. Easy to enhance with chopped hot dog, peas, or anything. Keep it thick and use as gravy.

Cans arrive badly dented almost every order
We love this soup for a quick meal when we’re too busy to cook (no sugar, organic, and enough small cubes of chicken to fill us up for a few hours) but three of our for last orders have arrived with BADLY dented cans, to the point that safety is an issue. Can’t tell if the damage happens in the warehouse or in transit. We really want to keep buying these, but it’s so time-consuming to keep contacting customer service.Anyone else having a problem with damaged cans?

Delicious and healthier than many canned soups.
Pacific is a delicious organic soup that I enjoy very much. Homemade soup is best, but if you are buying a canned soup, I feel that Pacific is a quality, healthier than some others and delicious choice of soup.

Love the soup when it arrives undamaged!
I have chronic health issues, and this soup has been my comfort soup on the days when I just can't bring myself to make or eat anything else. The soup itself is excellent for canned soup. In my opinion, the only brand whose flavour and nutritional value can compete is Rao's, and their soup technically comes in glass jars. The quality of the soup itself is in the 4.5-5 star range.Pacific Organics soup is a bit pricey compared to other soups (except, again, Rao's) if you buy it in a store, so I appreciate how much more affordable it is to order it from Amazon. Money is tight right now, so I have started to rely on ordering it rather than purchasing it in person.Unfortunately, two of the times that I've ordered it, the soup cans have arrived dented along the bottom seams.I've worked in the food business for years. In most states, anyone who has worked any amount of time at all in the business has likely had to take a food safety certification course. In this course, it's necessary to learn how to identify safety issues with food upon receipt of orders at a restaurant. It's an important skill to prevent sickening customers with food that's been unsafely handled or stored.Food from dented cans is unsafe to consume because, unless you're present to witness the can being dented, there's no way of knowing when it occurred and if, when it occurred, the seam and seal of the can broke (even briefly) upon impact. If the seam was broken, bacteria or other pathogens could potentially have entered the can. Even if they don't, any food present in the can will likely begin to spoil with the introduction of oxygen into the can.I would like to continue to be able to order more awesome cans of comfort soup in the future without having to pester Amazon's customer service about dented cans that aren't safe to consume.Because only 2 out of 4 of the cans that I most recently ordered were dented and the shipping box and inner packaging were in pristine condition, this leads me to believe that the cans were dented prior to being packaged. I hope that whomever is involved with being responsible for quality assurance of products before they're shipped will take note of this issue and make some changes to ensure that customers are being sent soup that is still edible.Perhaps this includes providing some more reasonable working conditions so that the people in the warehouse picking orders or packaging them have both the training and time to assess items carefully before they're sent out.TL;DR: 5 star soup. 2 star shipping.
