The media could not be loaded. I started with tongue drums and really wanted a real hand pan but I wasn’t ready to commit to an expensive one. When I opened it and hit the first note I giggled with excitement! The sound was so much better than I expected for a cheap drum. The first one had one note out of tune so I easily returned for another. This drum has brought me such joy over the last 6 months and highly recommended to any beginner. I ordered from a different manufacturer recently on Amazon (wanted a different key) and spent a bit more. It sounded off and I am sending it back. Now saving up for one that is 3k. I want that sound that touches your soul. But this one will always have a place in my heart.

I now give 4 stars because of their excellent customer service. The company got in touch with me and gave me a full refund. The drum might have gotten damaged during transport. The 5th star is missing since I have not been able to test the sound of a new drum yet.Their customer service was VERY helpful and polite… such as one can only hope for these days.Unfortunately Amazon did not publicize my last positive update. Let’s hope this one will appear soon!OLDThis is a nightmare! The drum is TOTALLY out of tune and every tone has an off-key vibration. Not at all the sound on the demo!!

Now i am super glad i got this instrument, am not a pro but the sound is good, all tuned up and the instrument beautiful. I also could afford it unlike others in the 2 K range. Also had good communication w/ manufacture with othe questions i had and that meant a lot.

Delivered without a stand

The handpan does not allow you to play with your hands. Mallets only. It is poor quality. I contacted the seller multiple times who said return was approved but still has not sent a label. This is surely a scam. Now Amazon is involved to help with my return. Go directly to the handpan website and buy from a reputable company.

I've had this instrument for a couple months now and I can safely say this was worth the price. Very easy to learn and very cool sound. I highly recommend this instrument for people like me who want to learn how to play it.

3 of the 9 notes are out of tune. It still plays 6 perfect notes but 3 are not in tune. They were very responsive and offered a replacement for the handpan. Great customer service. Would buy again
