VIE SHAIR - Pain Free, Sociable Headphone with Planar Magnetic Speaker, Yamaha’s Audio Codec and Music Sharing

We got these through kickstarter, and were disappointed with every aspect of these headphones. First, it doesn't do what was advertised in the kickstarter. Poor poor sound quality, even in a quiet room; the device needs to be turned up loud to be able to heard properly. Second the charge, it doesn't last, using the micro usb to charge while listening is no option. Like other poor amps, charging a unit while trying to use it, you can hear a LOUD hum of the charge. The only pro of the batteries running out, THESE ARE THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE HEADPHONES! Now, I used to use the portapros for sound and cost in highschool. However, compared to the VIE; Portapros were fluffy pillows!I consider this one of those kickstarter scam items. Even though, we go our product, you can tell these were made by amateur product designers.

Overpriced for what you get both quality wise and functionality wise. These headphones are just headphones that you are holding farther away from your ears with a frame which makes sound quality worse not to mention creating a lot of sound bleed. You're basically paying $300 for headphones that are held away from your ears (and destroy sound quality), have LED's, and have bluetooth connectivity. There are much better and cheaper options that aren't trying to play off a gimmick.

They just reduced the price from 350 to 300, but even at that price point, it is way too expensive for what these headphones offer. In the same price ranges, you have some other heaphones that have active noise reductions, with beautiful sound definition. The 3D printed open air frame is just a gimmick.

I sampled one of these because they looked really interesting and unique to which they are, but the price does not justify what it offers. Nowadays you can find plenty of wireless headphones for around the same price that will do a better job. The open ear design eliminates the point of headphones since most people I know buy them to be able to cancel out their surroundings and listen to music. Then when you put the isolating ear cuffs on, it defeats the purpose of why you probably thought about buying it.

I backed these on Kickstarter and I must say they are a very good piece of kit. The sound is very good and the bluetooth connection is stable. The basket frame format shown in the picture works well so you can hear what is going on around you while still getting good sound. The headphones do come with a foam (photo added) if you don't like the feel of the plastic cage.

Had a one of a kind experience with this headphone. The open frame feels more like listening to surrounding speaker rather than a over ear headphone. I can wear it for hours once I adjust the it to a comfortable sweet spots. Switching over to a close frame setup is a simple process to, close frame gives you a more immerse experience, great for movies/games or bass heavy music. Overall a good value, it might not be for everyone but if you want to try something new definitely go get one.

つけ心地に関しては比類なきものと言えるでしょう。他のどのヘッドホンと比べても痛くない、蒸れないという点で優れています。特に長時間つけっぱなしにする方にはオススメです。当方メガネユーザーですが、試しに24時間以上つけてみても痛くならず、これだけでも購入した甲斐がありました。ただし、音質等に関しては、あまりよろしくないです。バッテリー駆動のためか使用中は常に結構なレベルのホワイトノイズが鳴り続けます。（有線接続すると軽減できます）また内部回路の許容電圧が低いのか、VIE SHAIR側の音量を最大まで上げずとも簡単に音割れしてしまいます。もしノイズがなければ、ユニットの出音自体は悪くないであろうと思われます。周波数特性としてはドンシャリ傾向で、クローズドフレームに換装するとさらにキツいドンシャリになります。イコライザーを使う場合は2通りの設定が必要となるでしょう。決して悪い商品ではないのですが、いい音で聴きたいのならば別のヘッドホンにしたほうがよいでしょう。※評価対象外ですが、PVでランニング中、TVゲーム、DJプレイでの使用がされていますが…・ランニング → ホールド力は強くないので、走ると落ちる・TVゲーム、DJプレイ → 無線接続では遅延がありあまり向いてないということで、留意されたほうがよろしいかと。

購入してすぐ満充電をしPC（win10）へのBluetooth接続を試みましたが、「その他のデバイス」と認識されオーディオ認識がされませんでした。何度試してもダメなので初期不良を疑いましたが、ファームウェアのアップデートをすることで解決しました。説明書はいわゆる言葉少ななオサレ系（しかもデザイン重視なのか、日本語の説明書なのにそういう重要な部分は無駄に英語）なので非常にわかりにくいんですが、1枚目に「vie shair」とストアで検索してアプリをダウンロードしろと書いてあります。アプリをスマホにインストールしてファームウェアのアップデートをしますが、途中で止まってしまう場合は一度ヘッドホンの電源をOFF、スマホのBluetoothをオフにして、再起動してやり直すのを何度か試してくれとHPに書いてありました。ファームウェアをアップデートしてからPCでBluetooth接続してみたら、きちんとオーディオ認識されたものが検出されました。肝心の使い心地ですが、謳い文句通りヘッドホンならではの頭を圧迫されることによるストレスはほぼ無く、軽いつけ心地です。しかしバンドのクッション幅が異様に狭く、頭の上で点で支えるような構造となっているため、耳のワイヤー部分の接地面の少なさと相まって安定感がものすごく悪いです。普通に装着したあと、少し頭を傾けるとストンと落ちてしまいます。あらかじめ前傾姿勢で装着する必要があるでしょう。またフレームはただのプラスチックですので、使っていてチープな印象は拭えません。クラウドファンディングにより開発された製品ですので無理もありませんが…。音質に関しては素人なので特に不満はありません。一般的なヘッドホンと比較して極端な違和感は無いです。そもそも音を楽しむための製品ではありませんので過度に期待すべきではないでしょう。長時間のゲーム配信などで、頭部へのストレス軽減のみを求める場合に選択肢に上がってくる製品かと思います。

何度も試してみましたが、Bluetoothがつながりません。Bluetooth製品はかれこれ10品以上使ってきましたが、初めての経験です。期待していたのですが残念です

独特の設計思想は素晴らしいと思う。音質はそこそこよかった。YAMAHAさんが共同開発しているとあって、製品の質にはクオリティを感じました。長時間きいてもストレスなく聞けた。（クラシック、エレクトロなど作業BGM)外部の音が聞けるのはよい。ただこちらの音も外にもれる。耳は確かに痛くならないが、重い気はする。ヘッドフォンだとこんなものだろうか。となると、家での作業使用オンリーが主な使い方に。ただ、家ではヘッドフォンする必要があまりない、会社でこれだけのヘッドフォンはさすがに使えない。となり、使用する場面が少なくなりそうな予感。
