Great air fryer replacement for shake n’ bake style with more flavor
We were getting tired of shake n’ bake, and recently got a new oven with air fryer capabilities. Decided to give this a try even though we had never seen it in stores before (and as a matter of fact, I still can’t find it in my local grocery stores). It’s easy enough: I’ve been brushing chicken breasts with a light coating of oil and then slowly coating them with this. You can actually get two decent sized chicken breasts coated with plenty of flavor and still have enough leftover in a single packet for another use, but it may be cutting it close. They’re cheap enough that you might not even feel like being that stingy, but the flavor is great regardless of whether you use the entire packet or not.As long as you air fry the chicken correctly (putting them on a wire rack or basket that allows 360 degree heat flow) you’ll get awesome crispy results. Super easy and more sophisticated and flavorful than similar products we’ve used in the past.

Nice flavor
Great for an addition to your meal planning. Does not crisp as well as some other flavors. Spraying pan spray will help

My favorite seasoning
You can use on about 5 chicken breasts or 12-15 tenderloins. I don't coat it like the picture on the packet because it has a lot of flavor anyway.I literally eat this every night

Pretty Good
I prefer making a garlic parmesan sauce for my chicken, but using this is a pretty convenient alternative as a dry rub. It burns somewhat easily when cooking at higher temperatures, so it's not great for wings if you rub it before cooking. For lower-heat, slower cooking it works fine and is plenty flavorful.I ordered is June 2022, and the pouches are marked Best by October 2023. Packed in the USA, but the country of origin isn't indicated explicitly.-----------------------Buffalo-----------------------The buffalo seasoning rub holds up much better to hot cooking, and works great for wings. I still prefer sauce over dry rub for wings, but this is a much less messy alternative.I ordered is June 2022, and the pouches are marked Best by September 2023. Packed in the USA, but the country of origin isn't indicated explicitly.

Garlic Parmesan Skimpy Amount -- Not a Good Value for Money -- Loaded Flavour is Very Disappointing
(1) This Garlic Parmesan spice mix is tasty and easy to use; however, the amount in the packet is too skimpy to cook three pieces of chicken.I air fried two large chicken thighs using this mix for 22 minutes at 350 F (make sure to temp your meat with a thermetre to make sure it is fully cooked before you tuck in). They turned out juicy and delicious, but I was barely able to coat the two pieces given the amount of product in the packet. McCormick needs to at least double the amount in these packets if is to be enough to coat three large pieces of chicken. Likewise, the amount in the packet would not be able to coat more than a small to medium size portion of French fries.Recommended for taste and ease of use. Not a great value for money. If you want to fully coat three pieces of chicken or a fairly large portion of French fries, you will have to use two packets of this mix, which puts the price up to $3 to make three pieces of chicken with it. There has to be a way to make up a mix like this at home for a much more reasonable cost.ETA: Today the price is now $2.79 per packet on Amazon. Walmart has it for half this price. I have not tried to do so yet, but I think anyone could knock up this sort of coating at home for a lot less money. Buy the large containers of garlic powder, parmesan, etc., etc., and you will have enough of the needed ingredients to make as much of this coating as you would probably consume in at least a year. I lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars because there is not enough product in the packet to do what it says it will be able to do. This is a terrible price for what one gets in one of these packets. I suggest googling garlic parmesan chicken recipes to see what spice proportions are needed to knock up a mix like this and make it yourself.(2) I have now also tried the Loaded flavour. I am not impressed. Firstly, it is quite salty. Secondly, it does not cling well to French fries at all. Maybe I did not use enough oil, but who wants to add a ton of oil to their fries? We use an air fryer to avoid oil and grease, right?I am going to try the Loaded flavour on chicken thighs next. If it does not work better for chicken thighs, I will be returning the remaining packets. I bought three of them for about $1.62 each at Walmart. So glad I did not buy a 12 pack on Amazon. Walmart is the only market here that sells this flavour. Neither Albertsons, Tom Thumb, nor Krogers sells it. It must not sell well.Maybe if fries or chicken were dipped in a bit of beaten egg before apply this seasoning, that would help it to adhere better to the food? Maybe add this flavour to a bit of flour and then dip chicken in egg and dredge in the flour mixture before air frying would help?Overall, I do not recommend the Loaded flavour. Disappointed.

Simplified for your air fryer
I tend to overthink my seasonings, more so with the air fryer. This was so self contained and convenient

Cost
Only a single package 1.25 OZ. supplied at a cost of $14.95. plus tax. The directions say to use an entire package for 3 chicken breasts. This makes no sense that the spice cost more than the chicken and is gone on one meal. Also noted that it can't be returned. I saw a picture of 12 packages in a box and assumed that was what I was getting for the price. I was shocked when it arrived with just one package not 12 ! Something is definitely wrong with this sellers posting.
