I'm an active 78 year old and take CoQ10 as a heart supplement. CoQ10 is needed for the cells of muscles, heart in this case, to create the energy that makes them operate. As we age, as well as certain drugs, our CoQ10 blood levels begin to go down naturally, we get older, and I supplement with this to help Mother Nature keep me alive and healthy. Easy to swallow. Not too big. Coating gets slippery when wet. All good stuff. I don't know how it's absorbed but NB says it's good and I'll just believe them.
