I used this to run cable to an outside socket. Standard sized glands (included) allowed easy and secure connection to casing of outside socket. Took me a few minutes to work out how to use the glands (never used one before) but once sussed, worked perfectly. Ducting itself consists of a steel spiral inner core with a robust pvc coating around it. Flexibility is fairly good. Cutting the ducting took a few mins to suss also, I ended using tin snips and this worked very well. Kit delivered everything I expected of it and I would certainly recommend it for running cable to outdoor sockets.

Strong, yet easy to use. Mine didn't come with any instructions showing how the fittings went together and attached to the conduit. It was a little bit fiddly at first but once you know, you know. Will definitely buy this again.

Used the trunking to run a Cat 6 data cable. Solid construction and looks like it will last many years. I tried cutting with a hacksaw but reverted to an angle grinder, which made short work of the cuts. I used about 8m but struggled to push the cable through (the trunking had several bends), I used a couple of squirts of spray cooking oil on the end of the cable to lubricate and the cable then went through effortlessly (don't forget to wipe the cable clean once it comes out the other end). The trunking came with plenty of gland fittings, some of which I used to terminate each end into a slimline M20 junction box. It looks neat and tidy.
