Easy and fits great.
I had trouble with adhesion of the tape. The thickness is good it keeps the dirt out. The chassis cover is a good value for the money. I'm thinking about buying one for my other trucks.

Beware of overheating!
it's perfect to protect your parts from dust, leaves, grass, etc. but you should be pretty careful because even though its breathable cover it will retain a lot of heat so you should be careful about that, that also puts stress on electronics so beware!

Good but the provided Velcro sucks
This works okay but doesn't really keep out the grass clippings, maybe that's the way I installed it but who knows. As other reviews have said the glue on the velcro that is provided with this isn't very good, I had to constantly restick 2 sections every other day. In the end I ended up taking it off because I wanted to redo all the velcro otherwise it's good, it keeps out most debris

Will most likely add a lot of life to your XMAXX electrical components.
I purchased this for my new XMAXX 8S truck. Main reason was to inhibit as much dirt, grime and debris entering the electrics within the chassis. Mainly the ESC which has very small intake holes for the fan. I believe one common factor of the XMAXX's bad rap on the ESC is it getting dirty and clogged up hindering the amount of airflow from the fan and inevitably over heating and burning it up. The fitment of this dust cover is absolutely perfect. Be sure to wipe down the surfaces with alcohol where the Velcro will be sticking to the truck (preferably) while the truck is still new & clean. It was an easy install and with zippers on each side it makes for quick battery changes. I highly recommend this product. Has a high quality feel and appearance to it as well.

Fits xmaxx 8s
Works perfect on the xmaxx 8s fits. Easy to install with velcro and it actually keeps all debris out.

Poor fit and throw away Velcro included
Terrible fit and the Velcro that comes with it will rip off the body after the first run. I used high end outdoor Velcro and used a plastic adhesive primer to get it to stick as well as it could. I also carefully cut the Velcro to miss the boys most while using the largest possible pieces ... but this cover just doesn't fit well enough to bother going any further. It may resist snow and debris but not dust I also bought this cover for my regular Traxxas Maxx ( 1/10th scale ) and the dust cover fits great, though again with the above Velcro solution

Nice protection if the Velcro stays
It kinda worked. I bashed on the beach and the adhesive for the Velcro let go. I cleaned the surface with alcohol and everything prior to applying the Velcro to the chassis. I replaced the Velcro with better Velcro and now we’re properly velcroing 😂

Worth it
This was totally worth the buy. It keeps out snow, sand, and mud within reason (it's not totally foolproof), but it has been VERY helpful during our transition from winter to spring here in Michigan.
